Perfect country home

We L9VED the off the road atmosphere and the house itself was AMAZING and stocked with everything we needed and more!!! My family had SUCH a good time i would DEFINITELY rent this house again if i had the chance!!! I have referred it to friends, family, family and even my co-workers for their family vacatins!!

Perfect place to stay, close to Mammoth Caves

This is a quiet place with quick access to Mammoth Caves National Park. The host made it so easy to check in and provided good recommendations. Our family loved the scenic view from the porch and the horses in the front yard. We would stay here again!

Outstanding Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet cabin in a lovely setting. The cabin is nicely furnished, with a well equipped kitchen. The surroundings are very nice and it was an added treat to be able to visit the horses near the property. Very convenient to Mammoth Cave, about a 15 minute drive. Highly recommended. We would stay here again.

Cozy, Peaceful and Close to Attractions

We absolutely loved this charming, secluded cabin in the woods. We felt like we were at home. The cabin is within minutes of the caverns and hiking and an easy drive to Louisville. The cabin was clean, bigger than we anticipated, and had all the things one would need for cooking and daily life. We will be back!

Great location and very quiet and peaceful. Short 15 minute drive to the National Park. Wood burning fireplace in the master bedroom is a great touch! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place & location! We’re very happy.

We were in town for a family wedding. We really enjoyed the cabin. Half of our family couldn’t make it, at the last minute. Too bad, because the cabin & the area were great. We would love to stay here again.

Even better than the photos!

We were driving up to the property just after nightfall, and it was so gorgeous we thought for a second "...are we at the right place? This is ours?" The property is lovely, there were lights on outside we could see shining through the trees, and then we got inside and the living room took our breath away. Comfortable but modern, the Christmas tree was still up (we got there just after New Year's) and everything looked perfect. The beds are luxurious, the kitchen is super well appointed, the fireplace is excellent, the owner responded right away when we asked a question, and the only thing we had to do on our way out was throw the used towels in the bathtub. Literally couldn't have asked for better.

Quick 2-night stay

Was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Property was very private as well. King bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen well-stocked. Downstairs heater didn’t work on arrival, but owner was very accessible and responsive—was fixed in a short time. Visited Mammoth Caves. 17-19 mins drive from this property to visitor center.

Wonderful Weekend

Our three-generational family loved this cabin. The setting was very peaceful and we spent time together on the front porch in the rocking chairs just talking and laughing. We chose it because it is so close to Mammoth Cave. Perfect location. Everyone loved the rustic decor and the comfortable ambiance. Everything was wonderful and we are grateful ! Thank you, Joel.

Country Charm

The pictures on this listing actually are under-whelming compared to the property. We were not sure what to expect by the listing pictures but were pleasantly surprised upon entering the property. It is set back from the road and makes it feel very private. The decor was country charm with lots to look at. Everything appeared to be well dusted and clean. The host provided firewood, games and coloring books which were such as nice surprise. Minimal contact with host which was good for us. We treated their home as ours and we would be happy to stay again.

Short Weekend Stay

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of the 4th of July. We came to hike the Mammoth Cave NP and the location couldn’t be beat! 15-20 min to the Visitor’s Center. We brought our pup and she loved exploring the property and we felt safe leaving her inside the home during the hot weather hikes. Joel was a wonderful host. Very responsive and had great recommendations for dinner (Miss Betty’s Friday catfish, yum!). Even when we forgot our bag of dirty clothes, he is holding them for us until we can make it back up there later this week. He also owns Green River canoeing and we enjoyed a 8 mile kayak trip down the river. Their staff was just as professional as Joel. We loved our little cabin in the woods and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our first trip to Mammoth Caves and we wanted a cozy place to stay for the weekend. This cabin had way more room than we needed but we absolutely love the setting and decor. Perfect to just get away.
