'An amazing stay for a couple of days, the cottage is well-kept and was a real home away from home. We made use of it as friends on a road trip, which it was fantastic for. I suspect it would suit couples wanting a relaxing getaway even better still. The property was clean, tidy, and very well looked after. I appreciated how mindful the owners are of sustainable living (and also appreciated how incredibly comfy the bed was, especially after some cancelled flights chaos that made my arrival day...

'This house was perfect for us - 3 adults. It was in a cute neighborhood and had a cute yard. We had a little snag with the unlocking/locking of the door which is why I gave that 4 stars but the host gave us great instructions once asked - some combo of holding the handle up while using the key - we found this on other stays in the UK and in Ireland. The house clean and spacious and met all our needs - sorry we only had one night there before moving on as it was quite a perfect place to stay!...

'Lovely home which suited our needs for our short stay in Derry. Was able to park car outside the property which was ideal. Was a short walk to Ebington square were there are some bars and places to eat. It was an easy walk to centre of Derry.would recommend. '

'Everything about Helen's house is amazing! - Beds are comfy - Decor is stunning - Very clean - Excellent location - Everything we needed for our first cup of tea (including biscuits!) We would definitely stay here again.'

Our hosts Siobhan and John were such a lovely couple and we loved getting the chance to meet them. They made our stay so relaxed and comfortable we found it so hard to leave. 'The place was very clean and homey. Big and lots of room to enjoy. The kitchen if perfect to have dinner with friends and family. The hot tub is perfect addition.'

'The host was lovely and gave us recommandations for what to do in the region. The little hut was cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing. We hope to come back in Northern Ireland, and we'll definitely be staying at the Sheperd's Hut again. Cheers!'

'The 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for my mum, my sister, and me on our recent visit to Derry. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Peace Bridge and all the sights of Derry. Restaurants and a small grocery store are within an easy walk. Great value for the price. '
