'It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. 'A convenient hotel for visiting Bayeux. There is plenty of parking and the the town is a short walk away. Parking in town can be difficult, so we always walked. The rooms are comfortable, if a little basic. All rooms open onto an outdoor walkway, Ok so long as it isn't raining.'
