'I liked how they welcomed us to their hotel when we checked in at the reception. They gave us a tour and explained what we could do at the hotel besides enjoying our room. The staff is excellent. Always helpful and smiling. It gives a home feeling, which is very lovely. Also, the central sitting area with the fireplace is fantastic. We could enjoy a cozy indoor feeling while it is storming outside. 10 for this place. Not a single bad thing to find. '

'Charming hotel with friendly staff and a surprisingly good restaurant. Rooms are clean, though the bathrooms could use some renovation. Breakfast was okay. The complex could be better maintained: the windows in the dining area urgently need cleaning, and the dead flies in the pool were a bit disturbing. Overall, good value for the price though.'

'Mooi oud pand met allerlei cottages eromheen gelegen in prima onderhouden park-achtige tuin. Authentieke pandjes, gemoderniseerd en leuk en luxe/comfortabel ingericht. Een fijn zwembad met ligstoelen en parasols maken het vakantiegevoel compleet. We komen zeker nog eens terug. '

'This is my favorite Barrière Hotel in Deauville (I have tried all 3) because of it's quiet situation a little uphill at the back of all the traffic. You will need your car to go to the beach but this hotel is so amazing you will hardly feel the need to go out... Try some golf pratice instead! Its also the Barrière in Deauville which is less 'casino' styled and better preserved the old 'grandeur''

'Prima simpel hotel voor 2 of 3 nachten. Goede uitvalsbasis in Normandie. Hotel zelf zit op industrieterrein, maar met de auto ben je in no time in op de mooiste plekjes. Hotel heeft vriendelijk personeel en redelijke kamers: schoon en netjes.'
