'Large appartments in a very, very beautiful surrounding. A unique experience to stay in an old castello. Near the apartments are outdoor seats, to sit and read a book, or to have a meal. There is a restaurant in the village (2 minute walk). Also the swimming pool, although being a bit small, has a very beautiful view and enough sunbeds.
There are some downsides. The apartments have no isolation. Each sound of people walking by or in the apartment above you, is heard. When people arrive late, or...

'Negatives; 1. Last 30 metres of climb to the property was extremely steep. 2. The bed (a pull our couch) was the hardest that we have ever experienced. 3. The owner/host spoke zero English. 4. She showed us an unacceptable small unit, which we declined, until showing us a larger one with a view (which we had paid for). 5. After May 1, the heat is turned off and we were very cold for the first week of our stay. 6. Only one other unit had a terrace, patio or balcony (not ours).
Positives: 1. The...

'The place is unique. This is not a hotel, but it is a 5 star experience. The road it is pitoresc and rustic. It is an old castle, updated and gives a very pleasant experience. The stone walls like a fortress, the view, the royal decorated bed, the private bathroom with the all the new era amenities, makes the place enjoyable and the experience, well received. The breakfast for extra 7 euro it is very good, the personnel is very attentive. The church on the premise it'

'The staff was amazing! The people in this area are so nice and made us feel welcomed and really made our stay better than expected. The facility was nice but it is remote so make sure you are prepared to relax and enjoy nature.'

'We stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed the rural quiet location. The suite was a great size for two, clean, easy parking and the drive into any of the hill towns and villages was easy. Gwen was a wonderful host she knew the neighborhood and locals villages with suggestions for side trips and places to eat. Would happily stay again. '
