We were pleasantly surprised with the redecorated rooms. At first we stayed in room 1.02 witch is a grand room. After one night we asked for an upgrade to room A 01 wich was a villa room right next to the pool. This room is more specious and also totally redecorated. We enjoyed our stay and would like to specially like to thank the staff. If you don’t mind walking a few steps more we can only say take a chance. Don’t expect a five star experience but expect a pleasant stay. If you stay at Bamboo try the Boonrang sauna wich is around the corner at Nanai road.

Not worth it
We booked the bungalow deluxe but it wasn't luxe at all... We had a hole in the bathtub and there was a terrible smell coming out the hole. The wood of our windows had holes ass well so musquitos could just fly into our room. There were shower and bathgel of the persons before us in the bathroom so it wasn't very well cleaned up. The rest of the room was ok. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok! But I do NOT recommend this room to somebody else...

Wij hebben het hotel voor 1 nacht geboekt op doorreis en prima te doen. Het ligt iets buiten de drukte van Patong. Bedden erg hard, personeel zeer vriendelijk!

The hotel is a nice hideaway. It’s located in a nice garden with a nice pool. The rooms have a huge variation in the standard. The renovated rooms are very nice. The service was extraordinary- everyone is very kind and lovely.

Actually it didnt have toothpaste n toothpick in the bath room, the bathhub looks dirt n damaged, i texted the hotel about renting car but they didnt reply me finally, the whole look of the hotel is old n a little bit damaged, the staffs are nice, but have to ask about the adapter, hair dryer, the bathroom had so much ants.

We stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and always said we would go back, so we returned in November. The hotel was very much as we remembered it, but was also being updated following COVID, when I would think they had had few guests and had been left to run down some what. That said, each day workman were on side renovating the whole complex, this work was being done very quietly and with little use of power tools (we were almost unaware of there presence). Our room was good with everything we needed and as advertised,. The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The bathroom was fine, although the bath was a little worn to the base and could do with re- coating or changing. The pool and surrounding areas are lovely for relaxing and cooling off, with about a dozen sunbeds, brollies and tables. There are quite a lot of steps and no lift, so would probably not suit anyone with mobility issues. The staff are all brilliantly friendly and helpful, with pretty good English, nothing is too much trouble for them if you ask. Breakfast is not a buffet but, you can have eggs anyway you like them with meats or salad, toast with jam, fruits and as much tea or coffee as you like and fruit juice, plus almost anything from the main menu, although some things are at extra cost. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach and town centre, so is a quiet place, but is also close enough to bars and restaurants if you don't fancy the walk. Enjoyed it so much, going again in November

Very nice staff , very well presented and friendly. The building needs major money spent on it and bedding was stained, Breakfast omelette were amazing, tv reception was useless, beer was nice and cold,massage was great, dodgy tradesman have been making a mess of any repairs, appliances don’t stay in power sockets - that just fall out- had to put a table against phone charger to keep it from falling out of wall socket, pool was good,

We have just got back from a stay at the Club Bamboo which was very pleading. For our first few nights we stayed in a Duluxe Bungalow which was very nice however was open to mosquitos as well being woken up by the sun at the crack of dawn. We then shift to a Grand Deluxe Double room which was fantastic, we had a pool view and the room was clean and tidy with good working AC. The room was cleaned each day and the staff where very friendly and always helpful. Restaurant is a nice retreat with nice food at a reasonable price. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Patong its about 15 mins from the beach or 200bht in a tuk tuk. Over all would stay again and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of town.

First off I have to say that this property does have a few nice looking bungalows and I’m sure that some of the rooms in the hotel part are nice. On Expedia the pictures make the hotel look decent. This was not our experience. At check in we were greeted by a nice young girl. The check in part was fast and easy. The room that was given to us was a different story. The room that we had was B06. It was below one of the bungalows. It had a slight dungeon like feel. Once we got it the room we could see that it was quite outdated. The couch to the left of entrance was stained. The curtain rod over the front sliding door was falling off the ceiling. Two of the ceiling anchors had broke through the drywall, the latch for the door was not very secure(didn’t look safe). The bathroom was a mess the mirror was falling apart the sink was dingy, the ceiling falling apart in some places. I’m about 6’2” and if you were to take a shower your head would just about hit the ceiling. the bed was also a little disturbing. I took off some pillow cases and noticed the pillows were old moldy and has sweat stains on them. I could go on and on. Needless to say we immediately checked out and found a better hotel. Thanks Expedia. I’m probably out the money I spent on the place but it was worth the cost to get our of there!!!

Just stayed at bamboo first room they put me in the bathroom was horrible so wast happy about that , I also payed for a deluxe room which was certainly far from a deluxe room when I complained to management I found a very rude and arrogant non helpful an pure English spoken staff. She then went on to change to a room which the exact same condition as the first along with hot water in the bathroom being non existent as well as the sockets in the room being loose and dangerous. Additionally when I was checking out they give me a bill for water which I did not used however I already signed the form as usual you don’t expect to pay for something that I didn’t use . When trying to explain the situation to management they made no effort to listen and took in no information that I was saying and there attitude was you have signed so it is too late . Overall this hotel is in need of a refurbishment also the reception area when wanting to go too pool there is a large number of uneven steps which is stupid. On a positive note I would like to add that the restraunt staff and the other memberss of staff excluding mangament where great and very helpful

However, we have tried to solve the problem on our best. Since the first day that they arrived they have room that they a booking. After they enter to the room a room 3 hours later, we received a notice from them the room was not as booked and small for him, and not the same photo as we described. We offer the other room as the same photo that we put on the website but still the same type that they booked after they look the room they still denied and said all the same that they have and told us both room are not Grand deluxe double room. However, customers still refused to move .Finally; they have decided to move to room as we offer at the first and same the same type that they booked also this room we have photo to show on website got room on the 4th floor with a nice view. And during the stay, he brought his children and his wife both of them stay other hotels to use the swimming pool, which we allowed without any charge. But normally the hotel terms will be charged for outside guests using the service. Once again we are deepest apologise all any in convenients may cause you. with kind regards

Kept very clean and staff extremely friendly. But room was terrible, bed uncomfortable, tv antiquated and very poor reception, sewage smell in bathroom at various intervals and during the night constant noise in the building from generator. Overall the standard of the room was not like the photos shown on the websites that i had viewed prior to booking.

The staff were excellent, nothing was a bother to them. Our room was cleaned everyday by Mr Mew, who excels at his job. There are a lot of steps, so if elderly or infirm, that could be a problem but otherwise we had a great experience and would definitely stay there again. I had read quite a few negative reviews about Club Bamboo, dirty, insects etc but we didn’t find any of the problems given in the reviews. All in all, especially for the price paid it was a great hotel with the best staff.

Resort Hotel in Patong
Have been staying here for years. Always good rates and friendly staff and quiet facility. Shuttle service provided to beach but motorbike taxis are plentful if you don't rent your own.

The correspondence of all the staff is very good. The staff will respond promptly and respond to various consultations. The email before the stay is also correct. Reception is particularly good.
