Welkom bij onze Paw Paw uitje. Onze familie geniet al tientallen jaren van pootpoot en heeft besloten die vreugde met anderen te delen.

Weggestopt langs de dam vindt u de Paw Paw Cottage. Een schilderachtige ceder shake 2 slaapkamers, 1 bad huisje met een grote tuin en dock. Dit huisje is perfect voor een klein gezin of stel dat gewoon even weg wil en wil ontspannen. Adembenemend uitzicht op de zonsopgang boven Maple Lake doorboren de ramen op het westen. Stoom stijgt op uit het meer terwijl de Blue Heron zijn gebruikelijke visstop maakt aan het einde van het dok. Ochtendvissers varen langs de rand van het meer en verdwijnen in de baai. Genieten van een vers kopje koffie terwijl je alle bezienswaardigheden bewondert, is gewoon leuk.

Voor de avontuurlijke ziel zijn er 2 paddleboards van verschillende lengtes in de garage. Ze zijn zeer gemakkelijk te gebruiken en zorgen voor een leuke en ontspannende tijd op het water. Vergeet niet om naar het eiland te peddelen en langs de zandige kust te wandelen.

In de omgeving hebben we de beroemde St. Julian Winery. Een familietraditie die vele decennia teruggaat. Ik zou een rondleiding aanraden. En een wijnproeverij! :)

 Op iets meer dan 30 minuten afstand ligt de stad South Haven. Een van de mooiste badplaatsen in heel Michigan. Sterk aanbevolen!

En u kunt altijd een versmarkt of een bosbessenkwekerij bezoeken.

Great time!

As usual, we had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage. Bart was very responsive as usual too. We love that he put a ladder going into the water--it helps alot (also it was my favorite place to drink my morning coffee.) We didn't go fishing but saw a lot of fish popping out of the water. You Looking forward to going back again next year!!!

Sweet Paw Paw cabin

We spent a wonderful week in this charming lakefront cottage and loved every minute. Sweet cabin with everything you need, beautiful view overlooking the water, even several swans. Great fishing from the dock, water is clean and clear. Fabulous host reached out when storms were expected to make sure we didn't need anything. We would love to stay again, even our dog would give it 5 stars!

Peaceful Cottage

My husband and I loved staying at this cottage for Memorial weekend with our dog Buddy. It was so cute and peaceful there. The fishing was great and the views were amazing. The neighbors were very friendly and we had such a wonderful time. We would love to come back and visit in the future.

Mother's day weekend at the lake!

Beautiful property with all the amenities! This home is clean, comfortable & meets every need. The deck is fantastic with an outstanding view of the lake! We were lucky to have perfect weather & spend most all our time outdoors, but if not there were movies, games, puzzles & a large dining table to gather indoors. Friendly neighbors & a great town. Plenty of great restaurants nearby & wineries too!

Fantastic Cottage by the Lake

This is an amazing little cottage on the lake! I could not believe how quiet and peaceful it was there! The cottage matched the listing to the T and was very clean and comfortable. My only regret is that I had to work so much during my stay I had very little time to relax in this amazing oasis!

Amazing Stay

Staying at Bart’s place was an incredible experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, right next to the lake — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The place itself was spotless, cozy, and even better than we expected. Bart is a truly wonderful host; he’s thoughtful, kind, and genuinely cares about making sure you have the best stay possible. Excelent Host/Excellent Accommodations

This is an excellent place to stay! The cottage was very clean and well-supplied with everything I needed. Property and local information was readily available and in plain sight. There are movies and books also available for enjoying. I was there during a snow storm, and the drive and walks were all cleared early in the morning. Even the neighbors are friendly here!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage with the wonderful view of the lake. Quiet and peaceful just minutes away from wineries, breweries and restaurants. The cottage was cozy for us and the dogs, while we had snow during our stay would be a great place to come during the summer.

Cottage in Paw Paw

The property was just as described! What quaint cottage with beautiful views of Maple Lake. It had everything that we needed. It was very thoughtfully appointed and even included everything for our furry friend! Simple, clean and comfortable! The location was also great as we went sightseeing to nearby South Haven and Holland. The Kal-Haven trail was just up the road so we had a nice walk. What a great place!

Great visit with family

This was our 3rd stay at this cottage. Really enjoyed the upgrades since our last stay. New deck and slider door, new smart TV’s, new washer and dryer and new couch and chair. A Beautiful Getaway

We came to stay for an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary with our dog. It was the perfect stay. The house is well furnished and included extra amenities for your dog(s) as well. The house was very clean. Being right on the lake was beautiful and made for great mornings sitting on the deck looking out over the lake. There was good restaurants in town and great hiking trails all within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this location and would come stay again!

Perfection!

This was such a wonderful and surprising find for us. We needed a place to stay for the weekend for a birthday celebration in nearby Kalamazoo. To start, the cottage is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Very tastefully decorated and has all the amenities one would need. You just can’t beat the view of the lake. The location is nice and we were able to walk our dog in the park close by each morning. It was convenient and fun to visit the little town of Paw Paw. It is in close proximity to Kalamazoo, and South Haven if one wants to venture out for a day trip. LaCatina, Red Dog Root Beer Stand are just a couple of the restaurants available.We ate pizza on the deck and watched the ducks and swans swim by. We savored the little time we had just to sit by the waters edge and enjoy the serenity of it all. Unfortunately on this visit, we didn’t get to spend much time at the cottage due to the birthday festivities in Kalamazoo. We sure hope to get back there for a full fledged vacation. Hands down, we would recommend this home for a delightful stay.

Relaxing Stay.

This property is clean and has everything you need to relax and unwind. The deck overlooking Maple Lake was a great place to read a book and enjoy a glass of wine that was purchased at the near-by wineries. Plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area.

Cozy Cottage

This a very nice cottage. The lake views are beautiful especially in the morning. Had a great time kayaking the lake and a bonfire in the evening! Dog friendly with fences on each side to keep them in the yard. Great place will book it again in the future.
