Prachtig strandhuis met directe toegang tot het prachtige strand van Paynes Bay.

Mahogany Pod is een herenhuis met drie slaapkamers gelegen aan de baai van Paynes aan de modieuze westkust van Barbados. Het pand is in 2016 volledig gerenoveerd en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op zee naar alle slaapkamers en woonruimtes. Het zandstrand is toegankelijk via uw eigen poort aan de onderkant van de tuin en biedt geweldig snorkelen voor de deur. Het huis is ingericht in de stijl van een familiehuis in tegenstelling tot een vakantieverhuur en het stuk d'resistance is de ruime penthouse hoofdslaapkamer met een zithoek met grote flatscreen-tv, minikoelkast, balkon over de hele lengte, inloop kast en een grote badkamer met zijn en haar ijdelheden, bad en douche. Slaapkamers 1 en 2 hebben beide een inloopkast, een eigen badkamer met douche en Franse deuren naar het balkon met comfortabel houten meubilair. Alle slaapkamers hebben een kluis, plafondventilatoren en airconditioning. Alle badkamers zijn voorzien van haardrogers en kleine details zoals geurkaarsen, zeep, douchegels en bodylotions zijn aanwezig om uw verblijf te verbeteren. Een ruime keuken is volledig uitgerust met fornuis, kookplaat, magnetron, grote koelkast met vriesvak met ijsblokjesmachine, vaatwasser en wasdroger, evenals een uitgebreide selectie servies, glazen en bestek. De lounge heeft een flatscreen satelliet-tv met alle UK & Sky-kanalen en een dvd-speler. Zowel de lounge als de eetgedeelte hebben tweevoudige openslaande deuren die de kamer openen naar een overdekte veranda met banken, natte bar en minikoelkast en een grote gasbarbecue. Het zwembad is de perfecte manier om af te koelen na het zonnebaden. Mahonie Pod heeft overal WiFi.

Mahogany Pod ligt op slechts vijf minuten lopen van het beruchte Cliff-restaurant, Cliff Beach club, Daphne's en u kunt langs het strand naar Sandy Lane lopen. De eigenaren komen al vele jaren naar Barbados en helpen je graag bij het boeken bij de vele restaurants op het eiland. We kunnen watersporten regelen, zoals waterskiën, wakeboarden, enz. Om u op te halen van de bodem van de tuin. De bus naar Holetown (restaurants, bioscoop, winkels en supermarkt) en Bridgetown stopt op een paar meter van het huis.

Inbegrepen in uw verblijf is een welkomstpakket met boodschappen, huishoudster 5 ochtenden per week en nachtwaker elke avond van 18:00 - 06:00 uur. De huishoudster kan ook maaltijden en kinderopvang bereiden als een toeslag die rechtstreeks aan haar moet worden betaald.

Mahogany Pod was a perfect stay for us. The house surpassed expectations and was everything and more we could have hoped for in our beach front property. The house is welcoming, stylish, clean and equipped with everything you could want or need for your stay. The beach access and sunset views are a delight and listening to the waves from the bedrooms equally so. After weighing up hotel vs house the house proves to be the winning choice providing us so much space to be able to chill out around the home with plenty of space whilst still being together. The teenagers were very impressed with the fast wi-fi too! Emma and the team at Mahogany Pod were so helpful and made our stay hassle free.The welcome groceries were particularly helpful and most definitely helped us settle quickly into our holiday without the immediate need to be dashing to the supermarket. Overall, a delightful stay and we loved borrowing your home for a few days - thank you.

Nice Chilled Stay

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The property was nice, spacious and comfortable. It was well maintained and larger than the pictures suggest. The top balcony was great for relaxing with a drink and a book.We had a hire car for our stay and the access was easy but secure - parking was never a problem.

Amazing views, great location and plunge pool added bonus

This is the second time we have stayed here and always look to book here rather than anywhere else if available. Great space to relax, socialise have privacy and real home comforts. I will never get tired of chilling on the master balcony.

How relaxed can one be!

Wonderful property right on the beach which feels like your own slice of paradise. Local buses right outside the front of the property to transport you anywhere along the coast. Villa exceptionally maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful home from home decor throughout.

Beautiful Setting

The villa exceeded all of our expectations for our firs-time trip to Barbados. The views were amazing, the villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. The owner provided a welcome package of groceries, arranged airport pick-up, and was very easy to communicate with. Family vacation

The perfect home and location for our family vacation. Mahogny Pod has everything you need to enjoy Paradise. The beach is great for snorkeling or lazing in the ocean on a float. The views from the house and the upstairs decks and amazing. The owner was a delightful and full of many suggestions to make our trip fun. Five stars all the way around.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Our stay here was remarkable. Being able to hear and see the ocean was so relaxing. We loved being able to walk right onto the beach, snorkel, go for a swim and come back with a rum punch from the fish market. Great location with easy access to a lot of places. Tamika and Emma were extremely helpful and be sure to say hi to Carl, the gardener. We hope to be back next year!

Wished we stayed longer

The house is absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photos. It has a calming and relaxing vibe and is tastefully furnished. Plenty of space and equipped with everything you need. We had such a lovely family holiday, our first time to Barbados and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Communication with the owner was great. The housekeeper and manager were both very helpful during our stay. We would love to visit again

Beach Paradise

My wife and I are just back from at week at Mahogany Pod. It sits directly on Paynes Bay with steps down to a beautiful beach. The house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. It has every amenity you could wish for. We had a fabulous week there cooking fresh fish on the BBQ from the local fish market (150 yds along the beach and ate at some of our favourite restaurants all a very short distance away. Emma the owner and the local management team were a joy to deal with and I couldn’t recommend the property high enough.

The perfect spot to stay in Barbados

The whole booking process was so easy and Emma was incredibly helpful throughout. The property is very well finished and has everything you could need, including weekday visits from Tamika who was just so lovely and kept the place looking immaculate. The house is located right on the beach, which was a fantastic scene to wake up to every day. Easy to get to many other destinations (we rented a car but taxis also very straightforward). We had the best time and would absolutely recommend this place!

Relaxing February Break

Mahogany Pod was a home run with our family of two adults and two teens, ranking as one of our very favorite holiday rentals. The property is spotless, nicely equipped, and has a superb layout for privacy and relaxation. Its central location on the coast made exploring Barbados or just dashing to the grocery store for a forgotten item a breeze. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful morning views with our coffee on the deck, the easy access to swimming and fun snorkeling, and the peacefulness of reading in the garden. Communication with Emma and her team was excellent from start to finish, and we really appreciated the thoughtful selection of starter groceries and delicious banana bread after a long day’s travel. Many thanks to you all for a wonderful stay.

Lovely time

Our vacation started off poorly with missed connections and arrival delays but we stayed in constant contact with Emma and she ensured that members of our party were greeted when we arrived. Stunning Beach Front Home

We stayed at Emma & Rays home at Mahogany Bay for our 40th anniversary and it couldn’t have be more wonderful!!! The house and grounds were beautiful. The location was perfect!!! Emma also had supplied us with the necessities for a few days with milk, eggs, bread, coffee and not to forget the amazing chocolate banana bread!!! Excellent Birthday Celebration

My family and I stayed here for my birthday. The host was extremely helpful, even before we arrived. She helped with transportation, that we used the entire week. She set us up with the chef, who was amazing! And she provided recommendations on places to go on the island. The accommodations were just as advertised, and we loved that each bedroom had an en suite and balcony. Everyone was comfortable had their own space. The easy access to the beach was just icing on the cake! Thank you Emma.
