'The Rivendell was just as listed, LOVED the porch!! Wonderful location, close to Estes and RMNP yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Estes. No issues with water as others have stated(we had 10 in our party that stayed there). Dan, owner and Trish, property manager were wonderful to work with. Saw lot of wildlife during our stay. 'It's not always that an experience lives up to your hype and expectations, but this place absolutely does! The cabin is well-equipped and cozy, just like you'd want in the middle of the woods. The deck was a great place for our family to enjoy meals, roast marshmallows, and watch hummingbirds (so many hummingbirds!).
