VILLA FAVOLA - LAJATICO AREA

Located only 20 minutes away from the town of Lajatico, in a typical Tuscan hamlet, Villa Favola offers stunning views across the countryside fields. Within a walking distance there`s a bar where you can enjoy a coffee on the terrace. Within a short driving distance you can visit Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, and others. The villa is the perfect place for discovering Tuscany as a family or group. Every morning, the baker passes by with fresh bakery products.

Built in the 1800s and carefully restored, Villa Favola develops over 400 sq.m and two levels.

On the ground floor we find the living room with dining corner, corner sofa and fireplace. There is another separate dining room with large crystal table. We also find one bedroom that can be double or twin (by pushing the beds apart), a library and a bathroom with shower.

A beautiful staircase takes us to the first floor where we find two double bedrooms and two bedrooms that can be double or twin. In three of these rooms it is possible to add a single bed for children. There is also one bathroom with bath tub and one with shower.

Outside, with direct access from the kitchen we find a covered terrace with table and chairs for al-fresco dining, comfortable gardening furnishings all shaded by a hundred years old wisteria, from where you can admire spectacular views of vineyards, olive trees, and hills all the way to the marvelous city of Volterra. A staircase takes us to the lower part of the garden where we have the private swimming pool (12x4m; 1.3m deep; open from May 1st to October 31st) equipped with sun lounges and umbrellas, as well as a covered terrace with table and chairs.
