There is no A/C, It was unbearably hot. We had fan running and temperature in the room was 30 deg C. We had to checkout after 2 days instead of 3 days booked.
We request a refund of one days for the two rooms booked. We are yet to receive a refund.'

Beddengoed is dringend aan vervanging toe. Zitten nog 25 jaar achter op hun tijd met lakens en dekens. Waarvan de dekens allesbehalve goed aanvoelen(sponsachtige touch). 'Ik heb 12 nachten overnacht in Campanile Basildon. Daar heb ik de vriendelijkste, sympathiekste en meest attente mensen leren kennen.
Uiteraard heb je voor dat geld geen kasten met gouden randjes of een sterrenrestaurant...
Maar ik had een nette kamer, met iedere dag verse lakens, handdoeken en koffie-melk-suiker-theezakjes.
Het engels ontbijt was elke ochtend weer heerlijk.
Ook 's avonds genoot ik elke keer van een heerlijk avondmaal.
Ik snap niet waarom dit hotel zo weinig sterren krijgt....

The location of the hotel next to a busy road and the railway wasn’t ideal but there was nothing the hotel itself could do about that. It was, however, close to everything you needed, within walking distance. They also welcomed our dogs and even supplied dog beds, bowls and treats. '

'They provided reasonable service, gave out water bottles when you couldn't drink from the tap, and fixed the electricity when it went out. But the room was drab. Right out my windows was someone's front door and their security lights went off and on all through the night. Toilet wouldn't flush properly, shower was almost impossible to use. Door to my room was stuck, hard to open and close. You could easily hear people in other rooms. No airconditioning. Also would've appreciated regular hand...
