'We booked this very spontaneously and could not have been happier with the house and the city. We came from the Detroit area and in less than an hour and a half we were in a quiet beachside paradise. 'The location and view were perfect for a Point Pelee National Park birding weekend for first time visitors to Canada from Midwest USA. The property was nestled right on Lake Eerie. The sounds of the water and the views of the sunset were a treat! Much to our surprise our visit corresponded with May Fly season. We appreciated the fly swatter, but could have used a broom as well. 'The name of this property says it all. It is a perfect couples getaway. It was super cosy with high end finishes. Our host Gabriella was fantastic! Quick to respond and very friendly. The property had a fire pit and the sunsets were incredible. The area boasts the port pelee provincial park and within a short drive there is an abundance of wineries and breweries to visit. We had an amazingly perfect weekend away! '

'Let me just start of by saying that Jennifer is an amazing host! Prior to arrival, the answered all our questions and assured us of any concerns. Once we arrived, we unfortunately had a bit of a plumbing issue in the bathroom which she quickly resolved — within two hours in fact! Her prompt responses and support made our stay all the more enjoyable.CJ’s Lakehouse itself is a gorgeous property. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the living & dining areas feel like you’re right...
