'Cute, cozy little cabin that was super clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. On our patio we sat by the fire watching two dear right in front of us. We played bags with a beautiful Mountain View in the background. Restaurant across the way was amazing! We listened to some live music as the sunset went down. Great place to stay '

'We brought a big family together - all ages, from all over - and this was the perfect house! Spacious, great amenities, ideal location - couldn’t be better.'

'This little historic home exceeded all our expectations. The host was amazing, and made check incredibly easy. With walking distance to Garden of the Gods and a five minute minute drive to both Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Highly recommended!'

'My husband and adult son stayed for 2 nights. It was a perfect set up for us. The property was clean and well equipped. We didn't realize it at the time but were happy to see the property was at the base entrance to the Pike's Peak Highway. The setting was nice, as promised it was creekside. The only drawback was we could still hear road noise from Hwy 24. It was not a deal breaker in anyway, but took a bit a way from the creek. '

'If you love the outdoors Manitou is for you and so is this lovely place. It has everything you need for quick trip. The fountain river running along the back of the house adds an easy get away for the creek lover in all of us. Book now. Love the whole time.'

Bad guest experience, mediocre management

"It’s a beautiful location with one of a kind views. Large and nicely appointed rooms. A/C/heater, fridge and several power outlets did not work. Even after informing the front-desk, these issues were not taken care of. Staff and front-desk manager seem not to care. Because of the great location we nevertheless extended our stay by one night and were told to come back later in the afternoon as we would move to the room above. We were totally fine with this. Upon checking in in the afternoon, front-desk informed us that nok room was available, except for a suite that would be way more expensive. When being overbooked, you expect a hotel to offer the suite at the same rate as the originally booked room. This did not happen, even not after talking to the front-office manager. It’s such a shame for such a beautiful property. If you charge the rates of a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel, then you should also deliver this service standard. With more care, better trained and professional employees and by going above and beyond this can be a great place, but based on our experience we will never come back. "
