Gulf Dunes Resort biedt gasten een vakantie-ervaring met ruime tropische gronden, duinen, tennisbanen, grillruimte, twee zwembaden (een verwarmd van oktober tot maart), en voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De toegang tot het strand vereist wel een traptrap terwijl u de zandduinen doorkruist. De stranden van Okaloosa Island zijn zo puur wit als stranden krijgen. Het zoete zachte zand wordt nergens anders in Noord-Amerika gevonden en trekt bezoekers uit alle delen van de wereld. Waad in het kristalheldere water van de Golf van Mexico. Dit stuk strand maakt deel uit van de Smaragdkust van Florida en strekt zich uit van Panama-Stad tot Pensacola. Gulf Dunes ligt in de buurt van veel van Destin's attracties, zoals Destin Harbor, outlet shopping en vele andere buitenactiviteiten. Para-zeilen, snorkelen, duiken, karten, jetski's, dolfijnen tours, bungeejumpen en waterparken zijn slechts enkele van wat Destin te bieden heeft.

Gulf Dunes Condominiums ligt dicht bij de winkels en eetgelegenheden van Fort Walton en op slechts tien minuten van Destin. Maak een wandeling langs het strand naar de Okaloosa vissteiger of Boardwalk. Gulf Dunes 603 is absolute perfection. Everything was super clean and comfy. The view is awesome. The property was exactly as pictured, we loved that the master bedroom has it's own beach view. We had fabulous week. Gulf Dunes location is perfect for walking to many of the Islands dinning options and attractions. I will always recommend Brooks & Shorey Resorts to friends and Family! Five star Stay!

We loved this rental!A couple of suggestions: extra blanket in 2nd bedroom and drapes on the window. The light outside makes it difficult to sleep well with only blinds on the window. Also hand soap in the kitchen would be helpful.

The Brooks and Shorey staff, particularly the lady working in the Gulf Dunes building, have been great to work with each year. This was the first time we rented the unit and we were a bit disappointed in the comfort of the sofa and loveseat. The kitchen wasn't as well stocked (4 teaspoons as versus 8 or more) etc., but the beds were very comfortable and the balcony furniture was very nice. The cleaning crew left the kitchen cabinets very disorganized and the cookware was missing a few sizes of pots and skillets...otherwise, our stay was very pleasant.

This condo is beautiful. The views were amazing, and their was plenty of room for everone. The little kids loved the bunk area. The balcony was very spacious. This condo was very clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes which was great for cooking. I would love to come back to the ft Walton area and stay in this condo. The master bathroom is huge and jets in master bathroom were a huge plus. Plenty of closet space and beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this condo for a big family. We had 7 with us and there was plenty of room. Overall we had a great time and loved our condo. Thank you

Had to "man" the coffee pot so it wouldn't overflow (after cleaning the coffee grounds out of it), but the k-cup one worked fine. All 3 electrical outlets around the dining table did not work, regardless of which light switches were on. They just need to be replaced. The balcony furniture was great! The 2 front bedrooms REALLY need black-out curtains! Just wish we'd been told that the bridge workers would be pile-driving at 8am! Go to Fubar for great pizza; AJ's for great karaoke & the Shack for great fish!

The location is perfect, however this unit was not clean. The floors inside were not mopped, the outside patio tile was also dirty. The master bathroom:only one small towel rack, we were having to dry our towels on hangers from the closet. The master door knob would stick constantly, the rugs in the master could use a cleaning. The sliding glass doors were dirty as well as being very difficult to open. The Master bed was old and uncomfortable and the mattress was dirty. The pillows old and flat, we could not get the TV in the Master to increase volume and then it would not shut off, with us having to unplug it, hair in the nightstand as well. This is our 4th year coming to Okaloosa Island and twice renting from Brooks & Shorey, and we love it there, however this was by far was a huge disappointment staying in this unit

We enjoyed the location of our Rental. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We were very disappointed in the furniture and cleanliness of the property. When we turned the ceiling fan on in the master bedroom dust bunnies covered the bedspread. The furniture was dusty and the baseboards looked as if they’d never been cleaned. The sofa and loveseat were worn out and very uncomfortable. We ended up using the outdoor furniture because we couldn’t get comfortable otherwise. The unit is in desperate need of updated furniture and a deep cleaning. Also, the sliding door leading to the balcony was so hard to open and close that my husband couldn’t open it on his own. The ball bearings on the rollers on the door are gone or worn out. On a more positive note the unit was very quiet. For the money we paid we were disappointed.

We vacationed with 30 family members and rented 6 condos so we saw other condos. Ours still had older stove and frig and TVs were smaller. The decor was more southwest not the Beach. Beautiful view and beds were comfortable

This is a nice unit with great view and well located to everything. The two beds were great but bunk beds were very hard to sleep on. The unit was clean and has what you need. You will need to bring your own tp and paper towels ect. We loved and used the free activities that come with this rental. This was a wonderful perk! Overall it was a lovely stay.
