Reunion visit
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a clean fresh smell not that of an overpowering perfume smell that attempts to mask something, this place was truly clean, bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The purple parrot is a nice community and for the first time I considered buying a property there. Thank you for sharing your home, we had a wonderful time. Kind regards Wayne

Slow Mo
The Slow Mo condo at the Purple Parrot exceeded our expectations! Clean, nice furnishings, convenient check in, comfy bed, quaint and quiet. We could hear music from the room but that didn’t surprise or bother us since we knew about the live music daily. This is an extremely comfortable and functional condo for a couple. We would stay there again !

We enjoyed every minute passing in this cottage. The kitchen was well furnished with many pots and ustensiles, great for cooking. Love the bed .... very comfortable ! we would definitely recommend that place to our friends.

Just what we needed
What a fabulous little spot and the home was just perfect for my Mom and I's little getaway. Fred was so accomodating and even offered to refund our money because some work was being done at the upstairs neighbors. We decided to stay and enjoy his place since the work was only done during the day and the newly decorated place was perfect. Steps away from the pool too! We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Slomo Perfect name
We have vacationed on the Gulf the last 20+ years the best place we have ever stayed. The cottage was perfect looked brand new when we walked in. It was very comfortable and inviting. The resort was beautiful and clean. The owner made it very easy checking in and out. The price was unbelievable for Quality of the cottage

Nice getaway
Very clean, easy check in process. We enjoyed the stay. Only downfall is this is a bottom unit and other guests may stay in the above unit. During our stay, there were occupants in the top unit and they were extremely noisy and stomped loudly during all hours of the night.

The condo was decorated cute and it had everything we needed. The bed was really comfy too! The owners were responsive to any questions or concerns upon arrival. We would have been able to get into it a few hours early if we would have been the area. The resort was nice and it was great to have the bar and entertainment.

Perfect location for tourist, towards Flora Bama, The Gulf Restaurant & Lillian AL Front Porch. If you don’t want to leave Purple Parrot, wonderful pool, bar/food & music. Friendly people managing property & bar. Our first visit was June 2020, and we had the same great experience.

Great Unit for a Small Family
The Slow Mo condo was perfect for our 7 day vacation! It provided everything we needed in a clean, spacious room. The condo had plenty of dishes, extras like towels, shampoo and laundry soaps that have been left from previous guests which is nice! I would recommend this specific unit again. Also, the Purple Parrot is a great place for multiple families to meet, sweet and hang out.

Best beach trip!
My husband I did an overnight trip to Florida and this condo was absolutely perfect! Central to orange beach Alabama and not far from Pensacola either! There is so many amenities at the resort that you could stay in for a night and still have a blast!! Slow Mo that is owned by Mr. And Mrs. Poth is one of the best upkept condo’s I’ve ever stayed in! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Cozy, complete and convenient
Everything we needed was right at hand. Stocked kitchen, great bed, laundry. Even extra blankets for me when my husband turned up the a/c. Access to the pool and restaurant/bar could not have been better. Something to do anytine and so close to other shopping and dining. We are hooked! Hope to stay again soon!

Property was very nice. TURN DOWN THE LATE NIGHT MUSIC !!!
Our stay was very pleasant. Our accommodations were above. what we expected. Only issue is the late-night music. The quality was fine but when you wake up at 9:30 pm and can understand the words to a karaoke singer, ( I thought the tv was on ) the music is too loud. I asked for the volume to be reduced and I got a " I will pass it on" - did not happen.

First time in Pensacola
Great unit; nice and cozy for a couple. Only downside is that when 2nd floor is occupied it’s very noisy. Floor creak, can hear any footsteps and conversations. There is a bar on the property that plays loud music though shuts down at 11. While we enjoyed the visit, not sure it right for us since we prefer something more quiet and calm.

Great stay at Slow Mo!
My wife and I just had a great stay at Slow Mo! The check in process was a breeze and the condo was very clean and comfortable and speaking of comfort; the bed was fantastic! I haven't slept that well in quite a while! It was close to many good restaurants and literally two minutes from the beach. The pool area was very nice as well. We ate lunch one day at a place called Cobalt, the restaurant. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

Everything is great during the day but their is a tiki open to the public which draws a trashy crowd
Loved the property loved our room and it was an easy process check in and check out. Pool was amazing hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again. Probity wouldn't stay in the summer with the tiki bar opening at night draw in a less than desirable crowd but fall/winter is wonderful we are in by dark most of the time and not bothered by the Bar.

A needed break
The property was great. It was spotless and very comfortable. All the necessities were there at the condo and there were plenty of activities nearby. Shopping and dining were basically in a six mile radius. The pool was spacious and the tiki bar was an added plus. We would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful treasure
Wonderful place, we did stays in Sandestin, Kissimmee & this listing which all were great. We loved the poolside vibe and played trivia with other occupants at the thatched bar. We drove into Alabama until the road reached a dead end. Please give yourself more than a two night stay, that way you can enjoy and take in everything this rental has to offer including the screened porch. We only had one full day so we opted to go to the beach, therefore never stepped into the wonderful pool & hot tub. By far my husband thought this was the best rental of our Florida vacation. We'll be back! If I were to downsize I would build a cute little cottage duplicate to this rental. Perfectly thought out & the owners left no stones unturned!!

Everything was great here. Clean, roomy and ready to go. The location is amazing! You are within a few miles of the beach! Also so close to the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores attractions. We would definitely come back.

Slow mo is fantastic! Very clean and cutely decorated. Bed is so comfortable! Only complaint was the people above us were loud and you could hear them walking around. Slo Mo was our home away from home for the week . We loved every second of our stay. It was super clean and updated. It was close to the pool. Parking is right out front which is so convenient. We did walk to the beach one day and was just a short 5 minute walk down the street . The other times , we went to Johnson which is only a 2 minute drive . We loved the local favorite restaurants: The Pointe & Fisherman’s Corner. My 8 year old cried because she didn’t want to leave . She LOVED the pool . We will definitely be back on our yearly trip next year.
