'I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

'We loved it despite me having a chest infection followed by rotten cold!Peaceful, spotless, comfortable, everything we needed.Didn’t find a key for back door but it didn’t matter as we did loading that way then locked from inside and used front which I managed okay with my crutches. We enjoyed the fact that no live tv channels as we explored streaming with good effect. Not to be missed, Red Kite Feeding,Hay on Wye book shops and castlesMany wonderful walks I unfortunately can no longer...

'Exceptionally clean property, beautiful views, very quiet location, lovely cake on arrival from the host. Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom.'

'We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby.
Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!'

'We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut.
If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided.
It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work...

'It is located down a farm track on the farm grounds. Surrounded by fields and views of mountains, it’s just stunning.
You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you won’t have to see a soul.
Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it.
The owners are lovely and friendly'
