Locatie, locatie, locatie !! Welkom bij onze heerlijke bungalow met twee slaapkamers en een badkamer, letterlijk op slechts een steenworp afstand van alle fantastische restaurants en winkels op N. Vooruitzicht in Peoria Heights. Wij zijn ook gelegen op slechts 5 minuten van US Route 150 en Interstate 74 en 10 minuten van het centrum van Peoria. Als u in het centrum van dit alles wilt zijn, boek dan hier uw verblijf!
We hebben een thuis weg van huis voor onze familie en vrienden gemaakt en breiden het nu uit! Elke slaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed met designbeddengoed. Daarnaast is er, indien nodig, een uitklapbare queensize bank in de woonkamer. Onze keuken heeft alles wat u nodig heeft voor een kort of lang verblijf inclusief een wasmachine / droger, fornuis, koelkast en magnetron. We hebben ook een Keurig-koffiezetapparaat met de diverse accessoires die nodig zijn voor een vers gezet kopje koffie of thee. Tijdens uw verblijf bent u van harte welkom om buiten op onze mooie overdekte veranda te zitten en te ontspannen en te genieten van de sfeer van de charmante wijk. We hebben een handige parkeerplaats op onze oprit en er is ook voldoende extra parkeergelegenheid op straat.

Geschiedenis van onze straat: Duryea Avenue is vernoemd naar Charles Duryea, die de eerste Amerikaanse auto met benzinemotor ontwikkelde. De Duryea stoort de eerste autorace van Amerika met hun auto in 1895. Kort daarna, in 1898, nam Charles Duryea Duryea Manufacturing Co. op in Peoria Heights, en een van zijn eerste voertuigen is te zien in het Peoria Riverfront Museum in het centrum van Peoria.

This is the cutest little house in the perfect location! So many adorable shops and restaurant/bars within walking distance. Home is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Communication with the host was clear and timely. Highly recommend!

I love old houses: they are always so unique and special and this one was no exception. It was compact, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our week long stay. All the basics and then some were there, the bedding and towels were excellent, and the spaces were well laid out. The beds were very easy to fall asleep in. (The footboards do limit size for taller people.) Ashley was great to work with and prompt answering questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, not in great shape, needs some maintenance and repairs, and a good cleaning inside and out. There is a lot of dust on the lights in the bathroom. The outside deck is a nice spot to relax and watch wildlife.

Close to everything!

We enjoyed the proximity to the coffee shops, the local shopping and restaurants! The place was very neat and tidy, although small it is very nicely decorated. I would recommend this house to others. The only thing I would say needed to be improved upon is the sheer curtain over the front door didn’t provide much privacy so we put a sheet over it

The house is a block off Main Street but quiet. The Main Street has several fun and good restaurants. The house is dated but very clean and has basics of everything needed. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Good air conditioning and heat. Pleasant stay

We didn’t even stay, the property was filthy, took a ton of pics, shared with Vrbo, never heard back from home owner. I have a listing with VRBO and they were completely useless as far as helping guest as well as getting in touch with the host. I am cancelling my listing with VRBO! Do Not Stay at this Property!!!’

Its a very small 2 bedroom house with 1 bathroom (in one of the bedrooms), kitchen and living room. Couch could stand to be replaced as it wasnt very comfortable. TV could also be replaced with larger screen. Its an okay stay for 1-2 night trip though.

We travelled here for a softball tournament with our 17year old. House is clean and within walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Layout of the house was quirky but it is an old home and to be expected. The only bathroom is in one of the bedrooms which makes sharing with a teenage girl difficult. But that’s just our family dynamic and no fault of the house LOL. House served its purpose and we had a good time there! Thanks for having us!

Charming Simplicity

A little cottage in the city…such a treasure. Our needs are simple, thus we wouldn’t change a thing. Bedding and bath towels are luscious. All was in good working order…furnace, hot water, etc (very important in my view especially since it snowed and the temp dropped dramatically during our stay). Delightful 💝

Comfy getaway in the Heights

This is our 2nd time to rent this house and it was just as great as the first time. The house is very clean and stocked with anything you might need. It's within easy walking distance to great restaurants and a good location overall. Ashley is awesome to work with and always helpful. We would definitely rent this home again.

Walkable and cozy

My friend and I enjoyed our getaway weekend together. We didn't drive our cars all weekend and loved the walkability of the shops, restaurants, trails, coffee shop, and bakery.
