'I was drawn to this home’s photos. Staying here was an enjoyable change from staying at a hotel. When I arrived, Fiona provided a warm welcome, quick tour and introduction to the home’s features. Some highlights were: Norwegian furniture, high end kitchen appliances, large smart TVs, sauna and electric bending beds! 'Everything was very neat and check-in was easy because the instructions from the owner were so clear. There was a tad bit of noise from either a neighbor or the owner (space is attached to a home and share a wall) one evening and a bit of an odd smell the whole time. Not bad but not pleasant either. Like long after you’ve cooked something and a scent remains but no longer smells like food or maybe like the smell of a puppy that’s just come in from outside. Nothing that should keep anyone away...

'We were looking for somewhere to stay that was close to Mount Wachusett. The cottage was very clean, cozy, and had many amenities including a fully stocked kitchen and an electric fireplace . Though we were for skiing there during the wintertime, the cottage is on a lake and kayaking is also an option during the summer. The hosts were quickly available to us with any questions. There is even a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy!'

'This house is listed as a 3 bed 2 bath house. The three bedrooms are very small but you can get by for a day or two. The beds were in rough shape and not very comfortable. The queen (I think it was a queen but seemed smaller) has a frame but the box spring is just on the floor. The bathroom upstairs is very narrow. The second bath downstairs is not one you’d want to use. There is a ton of old trash and clothes scattered all over the basement. Overall it seems like whoever bought this house...

It's like staying in a Bulgarian youth hostel...
"This was the worst value-for-money we have ever had in the US. First of all, there is basically no service. We stayed for a week, house-keeping never entered the room. You need to walk to the reception to get a new towel, to get toilet paper or when the shampoo ran out. The place advertises having a spa and sun terrace, those were closed all week. And then there's the noises... Three nights there was a barking dog in the room next to us. All night long... It bared throughout the day as well, but at least that didn't keep us up. I complained at the reception but that didn't change anything. One night there was a group of ~30 persons partying on the hall-way right outside our room. The only reason we could get some sleep was because the extremely noisy airco filtered out some of the yelling... We have stayed in various hotels in the area before, this was hands-down the worst."

"Great place to stop if you're looking to be close to the tri-state area, going to Boston or just road-tripping. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered a microwave as an amenity when we needed one to heat up our leftover food. They even came to bring it. Housekeeping was thorough and rooms smelled clean. I have a high standard for cleanliness, and I am sad to say that the motel is showing its age a bit. Particularly the area around the toilet is rusty and has a lot of icky places, and there's rust on much of the metal surface areas. But that's to be expected. Overall a good stay. "
