'A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!'

'Very good stay on a beautiful location. The apartment was extremely well equipped; everything was available. It was also very clean! It’s approximately 25 minutes walking to the centre of Sarlat which was a little longer than we expected but all in all had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend. The swimming pool was amazing. '

'We stayed 3 nights with our 2 teenagers. Plenty of room for all 4 of us. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but adequate for our needs. We didn’t really cook but the kitchen was stocked in case we wanted to. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away and the town of Sarlat is very cute. Parking is just up the hill from the apartment. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely return. It was a great experience. '

'This is a great place to stay while exploring Sarlat. It’s close to everything to see in the city center. The building the apartment is in was built in the 1400’s, but the apartment has been updated to modern amenities. It is is spacious and clean. The bed was large and so comfortable. Rebeca, the host, is very kind. She told us a few places to see in the area. She even provided us with a bottle of wine. There are stairs to climb, but it is worth it to stay in this great apartment. 'Très beaux gîtes confortables en pleine campagne à quelques minutes de Monpazier. Très bon accueil de nos hôtes qui ont été très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes pendant notre séjour. Cuisine très bien équipée, literie excellente , piscine splendide , tables et meubles de jardin en quantité. 'What an incredible property! We have stayed in many great gites over the years but this one tops the lot. You have total privacy in the gite with a private pool, terrace and gardens coupled with an inside space that gives family and friends privacy and social spaces as required. The gite is very well appointed with aircon throughout plus ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
