Welkom in ons prachtige Lakehouse het hele jaar door met alle moderne voorzieningen. Dit is het eerste jaar dat we ons geliefde huis openen voor gasten. Het is altijd al 40+ jaar onze zomervakantie geweest, dus onze enorme familie weet wat een ideale gelegenheid dit is om weg te komen.

Als verhuurders hopen wij dat elke gast een onvergetelijke ervaring heeft. Als u eenmaal thuis bent, zult u er zeker van zijn om jaar na jaar terug te komen als een familietraditie.

Onze grote keuken is gevuld met alles wat u nodig heeft om maaltijden te bereiden, plus een ontbijtbar met 3 zitplaatsen. Eetkamertafel biedt plaats aan 10 personen. Grote familiekamer met stenen open haard. Planken stapelen veel games en puzzels om 's avonds of op regenachtige dagen te spelen.

De beste plek in het huis is onze serre met een raammuur met een volledig uitzicht op het meer. Mobiele telefoonservice door het hele huis.

JA, wij bieden wifi. (We weten dat werkoproepen zelfs tijdens vakantie.) Dvd-spelers in loft en woonkamer voor films / gaming aansluiten. Geen kabel Wie heeft er kabel nodig als we de houtskool-corral drive kennen - in ervaring is dit een must. (maar we sluiten ook een laken buiten aan en projecteren films onder de sterren met onze mobiele telefoon en appelprojector.)

2 badkamers, met een binnen douche en een buiten voor na het zwemmen. Beide hebben eindeloos warm water zonder tank. We hebben ook eerste verdieping wasserette - wasmachine / droger. We bieden strand-, bad-, hand- en keukenhanddoeken en haardrogers.

Outdoor kenmerken:
Word wakker en stap naar buiten met koffie of thee, zit op onze boomschommel en geniet van de sereniteit. Chipmunks en kolibries zoemen rond door de oude stenen patio. Vuurplaats met brandhout en 6 klapstoelen buiten, picknicktafel, houtskoolgrill - houtskool niet meegeleverd.

Aan het water: geniet van de zon op ons enorme dek aan het water. Het is als een buiten woonkamer volledig ingericht met banken en stoelen, salontafel, grote parasol, 4 ligstoelen, een verlengde aanlegsteiger met zwemtrap en voldoende aanlegplaats om van af te vissen.
We bieden ook 2 kajaks - beide uiteinden van het meer zijn natuurreservaten waar Eagles waarnemingen bijna altijd worden gezien tijdens het kajakken of varen. Blauwe reigers landen 's avonds op de dokken, dus dat is een nieuwe fenomeen die zo dicht bij hen is.

Parkeerplaats: 3 op oprit, meer op de weg en gazon indien nodig.
Feesten: geen bijeenkomsten vanwege de nabijheid van onze buren.

Silver Lake ligt in de glooiende heuvels van Wyoming County New York. Het meer is 4 mijl lang, een mijl breed, en staat bekend om goed vissen ... Ook in de winter! Ik heb meer dan 100 ijsvisstenten op één dag geteld.

Buffali International Airport: 72 mijl, 1 uur en 35 minuten rijden.
Niagara Falls: 60 mijl dichtbij

Shake on the Lake is een leuk professioneel theatergezelschap uit Silver Lake / Perry, New York, dat "in de geest van Shakespeare" originele snelle leuke fysieke shows bedenkt, waaronder een zomertour en winterproductie. Probeer een show te vangen, ze zijn echt leuk.

Buffalo filharmonisch orkestconcert in Letchworth State Park.

Augustus / sept is het Dansville heteluchtballonfestival. (15 mijl) Elk jaar overspoelt een caleidescoop van kleuren de hemel terwijl toeschouwers vanaf de grond in ontzag kijken. Zorg ervoor dat je je plek boekt om op en neer te gaan voor een ritje in een van deze heteluchtballonnen, die naar dit evenement komen van over de hele wereld.

Oktoberfestiviteiten: Letchworth art festival.
Fallfest, Pumpkinville achtervolgt Hayrides net als Darien Lake.

This home was spacious inside & out and had everything we needed for a great week on the lake. We cooked everyday, hosted additional friends and family throughout the week, enjoyed the boat, grilling, and gathering around the large dining table. We also got lucky with perfect weather, so we really enjoyed the drive-in, golfing and the driving range as well. The host was welcoming and responsive - we had an all around lovely experience!

This was a terrific place to stay and SO great to host a variety of guests. We had 7 adults and 5 kids (ranging from age 2-7) overnight. The kitchen is very well stocked. We'd taken cooking utensils and a few cookie sheets, but they were unnecessary as we had lots to choose from. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Upstairs is loaded for a great slumber party opportunity with 4 small beds for little kids as well as 3 twin sized beds. There were plenty of life jackets and water shoes (needed for the rocks in the water). The two kayaks were in good condition. The dock had plenty of seating space and opportunity for fishing or swimming. Although lots of rocks and seaweed along the shore, the water itself was very clear. Linda was a very swift communicator by messaging through Vrbo and e-mail as well as text messaging. The only downside, we'd say, is that there were quite a few dust bunnies around and dust on the surfaces/window blinds. Otherwise, the most important things (linens, kitchen, and baths) were all very clean and everything was very tidy when we arrived. Lots of board games and puzzles. No need to bring any. Charcoal Corral is a great place to go to eat and/or have some entertainment and the Silver Lake property easement down along the lake allows for great walking and viewing of all the lake houses. All in all, we'll definitely be back!

The location was perfect, the house well suited to accommodate several families. The upstairs, I call it the dorm, is best suited for younger kids. The grassy areas are delightful, as is the dock area.

We stayed stayed at this property with 3 families, 6 adults, and 7 children. We had plenty of space but didn't realize there was only one indoor shower. The house was clean and very organized. The kitchen could use more cookware, the freezer draw sticks and the dishwasher door flies open. The outside area was beautiful, with plenty of seating by the water and a fire pit in the yard. My husband was disappointed that he couldn't tether his boat to the dock, which we didn't know about until just a few days before we checked in. Overall, we had a nice time and would visit this property again.

3 of our sons, daughters-in-law & 7 of our grandchildren gathered for the week, 2 daughters-in-law had to work 2 days during the week & the college kids were there in varying numbers due to summer jobs. Silver is ideal since it’s about 1 hr. from home. Linda addressed any concerns in a timely way. The house is large enough to accommodate the group, the yard & deck fantastic. We’ll be back.

Our large group of family members preparing for a wedding, stayed at this great lake front location. There is plenty of sleeping and gathering space for all. Sunsets are fabulous on the dock or from the sun room. Kitchen was well stocked minus a coffee pot which we bought at the local Dollar General. Towels are available, but recommend bringing extra if you have a large group. There's a great washer and dryer if not. Some not so great things were; there wasn't gas for the grill and bottom oven didn't work. Also, property is advertised as having two full baths. It has one full bathroom, and a small half bath in master. Note: there's an outdoor shower, but it is not enclosed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the quaint town of Perry. Short walk to putt putt golf, grill, ice cream parlor and drive in theater too! Great spot! S. Burns SATX

This property is wonderful! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 kids (9,7(2),6,5 and twin 2 year olds! More than enough room! The upstairs room with 7 beds that were perfect for the kids. The kayaks, swimming and fishing were some of the highlights of our trip! We hiked and swam at Letchworth Park , went to the Charcoal corral (several times)and swam at the natural spring at Stony Brook. Linda was very responsive in answering questions. The house was wonderful, the neighbors were friendly, the home was cozy, the beds were very comfortable and the dock was amazing! I promised three of my grandkids who were cried because they didn't want to leave that we will be back next year!! Thanks Linda!!

This is a great place for families to enjoy the lake. The dock provides a comfortable place to relax by the water and to watch the kids swim. The house is spacious and comfortable, although having only one indoor shower is a bit of a drawback for large families. That notwithstanding, a thorough cleaning and a few minor repairs would raise our overall rating to five stars.

Longtime renter here and have had very good experiences. But, this was not as advertised unfortunately. The location was beautiful, the house was nice but it was unacceptably dirty, especially considering the focus on cleanliness these days and that a cleaning fee was assessed. We were compensated but the disappointment of multiple adults investing several hours each to clean the whole house upon arrival outweighed that compensation. I recommend the owner invests in a cleaning service, particularly since a fee is charged to guests. Amenities were also scant - bath and beach towels weren’t present as advertised, nor a coffee pot. Between amenities and cleaning products we spent a good deal of time and money. The rental experience disappointed and the owner wrongly accused us of seeking a full refund from her. I finally contacted VRBO and asked that they intervene on the 5th day of a 7-day trip since the owner continued to engage and we just wanted to enjoy the remainder of our first vacation in a long time. The area is beautiful. The lake is beautiful. I would come back and rent elsewhere.

Loved the property and the location. Beautiful view right on the lake! A lot of great activities right around the corner for the kids! For the price it’s a great find. Linda was very responsive with all questions before and during the stay. The house was a little dirty when entering with animal hair but all appliances and dishes seemed to be clean. One full bathroom is a bit tough for the amount of people advertised and no bathtub if you’re kids aren’t showering yet. No air conditioning but usually the breeze off the lake is enough. The upstairs could use curtains to block out the sun in the morning. Garbage was an issue as the pick up took garbage from previous stay and only had one bin. Would recommend having more bins. Would recommend bringing own towels. Listing says included but only 6 included for up to 17 people. Question about cleanliness with covid protocols as we were told “if we were that worried about covid to bring our own stuff” when asked about beds being cleaned. No hose if you have inflatables for children. Dock was beautiful! Swimming area was great.

Great lake house that more than accommodated 13 of us. Upstairs loft was perfect for kids to have there own space. Owner was very quick to respond and very helpful. Even recommended a great bakery that made one of the best cannoli cakes I’ve ever had. I would defenetly recommenced this rental and would certainly return for another visit.

I was there with 8 of my girlfriends who are also business colleagues. We were there so that we could be together for an on line training event. The house is absolutely adorable and everything that it was said to be. It actually impressed me because most of the time the pics or the description of a place are actually better than the reality. So we were very impressed! The WiFi was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were all comfortable. The neighbors were pleasant. The kayaks were great. The view spectacular. The little camp fire was so fun and we had a fire every night. If there was anything negative to say it might be that there is only 1 and 1/2 baths BUT with 9 ladies, we did not seem to have issues. So, it can totally work! Linda was very accommodating and easy to reach. We're thinking of making this an annual thing!!!! I would absolutely stay here again!!
