'Beautiful an luxurious hotel. Well equipped and nicely decorated hotel room with everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Good breakfast with a view over the Old Course and town. Allergies were perfectly dealt with. Location of the Sands Grill could be better: no windows/outside view, which is a pity for such a marvelous hotel location. Be aware that the use of the spa pool has certain restrictions in time when no further spa treatment is booked.'

'Zeer vriendelijk hotel met een mooi uitzicht op de golfbaan. We kwamen laat aan en ze hielden de keuken nog even wat langer voor ons open. Een warm welkom. Geen WiFi op de kamer en in de algemene ruimte traag.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Murrayshall. This was our second visit, having stayed around 18 months ago in the wintertime. It was nice to see the hotel at a different time of year, but the rooms, staff and excellent dinner in Eilos remained the same. A very good stay. The only thing that could have been better was breakfast - it seemed a little disorganised. '
