'Beautiful an luxurious hotel. Well equipped and nicely decorated hotel room with everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Good breakfast with a view over the Old Course and town. Allergies were perfectly dealt with. Location of the Sands Grill could be better: no windows/outside view, which is a pity for such a marvelous hotel location. Be aware that the use of the spa pool has certain restrictions in time when no further spa treatment is booked.'

'Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn.
