'Lovely accomodation with nice big rooms. Our room was located at ground level and a bit noisy due to the wooden floors above. The hotel has nice terraces and lounge areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room could be cleaner (cobwebs hanging from the high ceilings - other than that the room was clean). Nice darkening curtains.'

'The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details.
