'We always stay at the Landmark when we go to DoCo and rent a condo. The weather was cooler so didn't get to use the pools but the hot tub in our building was great. We did not have a good experience at the Carrington Restaurant located on the property. Food was fine but the service was poor - took 50 minutes to get our food when the waitstaff said multiple times it would be a few minutes. 'Our kids and grandkids stayed at the Pool Haus for four days and seldom left the property there was so much to entertain them. The pool, basketball and tennis court were huge hits. In addition, they rode bikes and skateboards, and had a bean bag tournament. We had plenty of room to spread out so the older kids had their privacy when they wanted a break. The lower level with a movie theatre and game rooms were fun for all ages. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a large group....

'We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!'

'Beautiful property overlooking water. Stunning sunset. We enjoyed watching wildlife. For Walks on the beach bring appropriate shoes. Dock a bit wobbly. Clean home. Note three rooms are for three people. Beds not the most comfortable and make noise when moving! They had a full septic tank, we bought more paper towels, tp. and towels to stay comfortably. Kitchen can be small with more than two cooks. Not enough chairs to sit around table and eat together. We enjoyed the patio/deck area for meals....

'Our hosts greeted us when we arrived and had a lovely gift basket for us. They explained everything we needed to know about the boat and the marina, so we felt welcome and comfortable. Our stay on the houseboat exceeded our expectations, in part because the hosts were so gracious. My granddaughters are already planning to come back and stay on this houseboat again! '

'Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand.
