Light in bathroom didn’t work and they knew it. It was disconnected to keep it from flickering, and they still put us in the room knowing that the light did not work. Very difficult to shave and/or put on makeup when you do not have a bathroom light. The pool was green with floating algae covering the top. That was the view we had from our room window. Not pleasant to look at. Finally, there are homeless littering the area around the hotel.

Everything about the property and employees were great. I was not a fan of the firm mattress and thin pillows. So I didn’t sleep well.

It was a nice property next to the freeway and new housing although the homeless people on the train tracks next to the entrance scared my child.

I liked everything. Except the heater made a knocking sound so I had to shut it off. And the jacuzzi was out of order. And no one was working in the dining area Saturday night or Monday morning so I was stuck with horrendously bad pesto tortellini from their convenience store that I warmed up in the microwave. But other than that it was nice.

Disappointed in the misinformation we received. e checked on Dec 24 to see if the Bistro would be open for breakfast on Dec 25 and was assured it would be, but then there was a sign up in the morning saying it would not be open. We understand it was Christmas, but surely they knew the night before it woud not be open. It made us have to scramble at the last minute & again, it being Christmas, that was not an easy fix. Also, front desk staff was not very friendly.

The hotel was great, very clean and super comfy beds and pillows. My main issues was that I specifically booked this location for it's hot tub and when my fiance and I went in, it was not only filled with kids (12-14 yr olds) at 9:00pm, with no parents insight and the water was so cold. It was not enjoyable whatso ever.

Would stay here again :)
The room was very nice and clean. The only problem was that we did find a few ants crawling here and there. It didn’t bother us so we did not ask for a new room but yeah would’ve liked not to have ants. I saw on other reviews that there were a lot of homeless people in the area, didn’t see any outside the perimeter of the hotel so that was a plus. Checking in and out was also very fast and the workers were very nice. Overall, nice hotel and employees, liked the hotel minus the ants.

I stayed at the Petaluma Courtyard for work training event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was also one of the only courtyards I have come across with a sit down bar which was nice after a long day in class. I would stay here again.

For whatever reason, this property did not provide housekeeping. Left for an event and returned later that evening to the room exactly as I had left it. Granted, not much had to be done but say hang towels, make the bed, etc... I'd give this property an excellent grade but given that they can't even provide that is worrisome.

Room service missed my room twice, even after mentioning something to front desk staff. Sadly, there was also a major ant issue in the bathroom. The room and bed itself were very comfortable, which softened the blow of ants and no cleaning.

A New but Poorly Executed Hotel.
To use the interior room lights for more than 10 seconds, you must place your room key card in a device on the wall. This was clearly done to save energy, but when you wake up at 6 AM and need to pee and you almost trip and fall in the dark because the bathroom lights don’t work… someone didn’t think this through. That plus hallways that are kept at about 75-80 degrees in the name of energy savings while the hotel charges full price for a room, a shower which features a metal plate above the shower drain so it makes a rattling tin can sound the entire time you shower as the water drops land on the metal, and $6 bottled beer during “happy hour.” Did I mention the train tracks next to the property featuring homeless people milling around at all hours of the night? Another feature of this hotel. Want to walk somewhere? Better pack your bear mace just in case.
