Dear Patricia, Thanks for your kind review! We always strive to give out guests the best and your great presence allowed us to give our best. We will do our best to provide more amenities to our guests, unfrotunately sometimes it's not possible as some items or foods might be inconevient for some our our guets due to personal allergies (bread), beliefs (milk) or different hygenics habits (shared soap). However, sorry for that, there is no excure for missing Extra Virgin Olive Oil. You should have told us! We would have immediatelly provided some from my personal reserve. Thanks again or your stay.

Dear Pascal, thanks for enjoying the unique view of Villa Francione, it never leaves our dreams. It was a pleasure for us being able to host your large family in the extra bed located in the secondary living room. The more the better when you are with family, it wouldn't be holiday if you could't be all 9 people together. There aren't many mosquitoes because the climate is not hot and humid, and the week of "offspring" can be managed with a repellent spray and a bit of extra care by keeping the bedroom windows closed during night. There are max 3 freight trains passing during night, they are charter, so the amount changes with the economy. Fortunately the double glazing window of the bedrooms will keep out, not only the mosquitoes, but also all the noise, so you are not able to hear them. We have been happy to have you at Villa Francione where you could enjoy all our amenities like the secular garden or the the spacious veranda: excellent for reading a book and having a glass of wine. Please come again to visit us.

Indeed the Villa Francione is really close to the lake and to many "jump point" for a swim or just for a lake side walk. The unique view comes from the genius of Arch. Eng. Arialdo Daverio that designed it in this modern version of a Walser traditional house. The kitchen, well, it must be good so one can cook great Italian meals and have them with the view! Heike Krämer was a very nice guest. She was sweet and her group of 3 families was composed of lovely humble people able to appreciate the important things of life. They really appreciated the views of the Villa and the comfy veranda that keeps fresh during the day and is perfect for a relaxing lunch. I am happy that you enjoyed the new fridge that gives ice cubes and cold filtered water! That is super comfy to have on hot days. Dear Martin, thanks for your review. We spend a great deal of time to maintain the original hand made furniture in perfect shape, as we take care of our hand painted floors. Some people like floors of resin and furniture of chipboard by big brands. On the contrary we like our original solid wood of natural Red Douglas. This is not only beautiful, but also very environmentally friendly. I wish to particularly thank you for your stay. Dear IIan ben gal, we do our best to ensure everything is perfect for our guests. I am super sorry to read of your non-perfect experience with the mattresses. They have actually been replaced not far ago and are hygienized every year. However, thanks to your report I will immediately inspect them and provide with a replacement of the obsolete bedding.
