The Charming Sicarderie Guesthouse, 30 minutes from Bordeaux

Ideally located between Bordeaux and Blaye, the gîte de la Sicarderie welcomes you for your stay in the countryside in a quiet and pleasant environment.�PGJyPgHoused in a former nineteenth century stable, the gîte benefits from modern comforts while having retained its original charm with its stones and rubble stones as well as its authentic framework and exposed beams. It is located in a built complex that also includes our house.
The entire property is located on a fully enclosed plot. You can enjoy an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside from the private terrace of the cottage and its garden, ideal for recharging your batteries.
The cottage consists on the first floor of a main room with equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with television, a toilet and a laundry area. Upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms with beautiful exposed beams; As the latter are located about 1.70 m from the floor, tall people will have to pay particular attention to them. They are respectively equipped with a 160x200 bed that can be separated into two 80x200 beds. A bathroom with shower and toilet completes this level.
The cottage is equipped with electric heating. Electricity consumption over 8kwh/day and heating are to be paid extra.
Sheets and table linen are included in the price; possibility of renting towels and cleaning at the end of the stay (paid services).
Dogs are welcome under conditions (supplement of 10€/day/pet, additional deposit). Our two cats also live on the property and move freely outside.
You can park your vehicle safely in the shared parking lot with ours, located at the entrance of the property in front of the cottage.
