Hello Shemya, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the property and I hope you had a safe trip home. To address your issue with the garage door opener, I assumed the issue was resolved that morning when I didn’t hear back. I did recommend checking that the sensor wasn’t blocked, unplugging the motor and if that did not resolve the issue to use the second remote. If made aware I could have arranged for a service tech to come out. We have a wonderful housekeeper who has done a fantastic job keeping the home clean for our guests. The complaints were that the home was smoked in, found inscent sticks stuck into the picture frames (ash fallen onto the carpets) Smoke is a very difficult odour to cover up and also to get rid of. The house rules do state that there is no smoking in the home but you are welcome to smoke outside. There were stains and holes found in the bedding which had to all be replaced. We understand that check out day is a busy time and sometimes the beds don’t get stripped but we do need food to be thrown out from the fridge and freezer, especially seafood, counters clear from food and the garbage/recycle to be removed from the home as listed in the welcome guide. The housekeeper may not be there until the next day for cleaning and we don’t want any odours left behind. Any spills on the carpets would need to be cleaned up right away as they do stain and create extra cleaning charges. I would absolutely encourage anyone staying to please take pictures of the home before and after your stay. Take care Claire
