'Very good place, it’s not a huge hotel, but looks like a sizable old-time mansion, our room had tropical colonial style furniture, and a balcony overlooking a quiet side street. 'Comfortable hotel just outside the centre, but with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (I reccomend the coffe place on the corner of the main thoroughfare). The hotel is comfortable without being super luxurious, but there are two aspects where it really shines: the pool and the hotel staff. The pool is big enough to swim laps and the staff are among the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I've ever come across. '

'I have stayed at the golden temple retreat 3 times and each time it gets better and better. It is top notch. They go above and beyond. For my birthday the stff beautify decorated my room and then the entire staff came to my room to sing happy birthday to me. Very special to me as its also the day, 1 year ago, i had open heart surgery the day befour my 55th birthday. If you dont stay at the golden temple you woud be making a mistake.
