'The dining was open to the outdoors. For dinner there was a singer. For breakfast there was an omelet chef. It was quiet. In the morning an elephant walked by. Easy walking to the rock.'

'Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely setting. Happy to arrange tours, taxis etc. The restaurant area on the edge of the forest away from the main road meant it was quieter than other hotels but still walkable to the sites.'

'We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere.'

'What a wonderful place. The staff is absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. Nice and clean room (we stayed in the Deluxe room) The food is REALLY good if you like the lokal cuisine, you have to try It!! Only minus was a lack of other guests, due to the covid situation😕 More People would make the athmosphere here even better😊'

'Op het laatste moment gekozen voor dit hotel vanwege zwembad. Fijne, ruime kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien en heerlijk bed. Restaurant bij accommodatie was prima, alleen redelijk prijzig, maar verder niks in de buurt. Ligt vrij afgelegen, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Fijn zwembad en mooi aangelegde tuin. Alles prima verzorgd!'

'Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...
