'We stayed at the Spanish school. Beautiful buildings and amazing gardens. Great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. They organised a taxi to take us and pick us up from the night tour we’d booked at Monteverde. Would definitely recommend staying here.'

'While the monkeys seemed overwhelming at first, they were fun to watch and not a problem. We loved the layout and the spacious rooms. We could find solitude while still enjoying family gathering space. Its location provides quick access to numerous activities from the Cloud Forest , to a waterfall hike, to zip lining, to breakfast at the bottom of the driveway, to coffee options to town. There are a lot of steps! '

'My family of five really enjoyed staying at this house. It was nice and big and fully stocked, so all five of us felt very comfortable. I also really like the location, It is very much in the jungle.The host was also super responsive and answered any questions we had. Would recommend and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks.'

'To stay here a car is the best way to go—it’s located on a lovely property a bit outside of Santa Elena proper—not walkable to the Cloud Forest and other things we wanted to do, although only a short drive to coffee tours and a nighttime wildlife tour. The house is beautiful in a very contemporary Latin American style. Nice pool, but it was a bit rainy when we were there and sun breaks did not correspond well with when we wanted a dip—but we can’t blame the hostess for that '

The property manager was fantastic—very responsive and communicative every step of the way. "We hebben een goede ervaring gehad tijdens ons verblijf. Alles was erg netjes en schoon. Ook en zwembad geldt dit voor. We hebben het geluk gehad dat er een apen familie over trok. En ara’s zaten te eten bij het restaurant. Daarnaast was de krokodillen tour die bij de receptie voor je gereserveerd kan worden erg leuk. Het restaurant is prima, en als optie zit er een soda aan het eind van de straat. Wij hebben er drie nachten overnacht."

"Het was een superfijn verblijf. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en het huisje was boven verwachting mooi. Daarnaast was de host super vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was lekker en heel knus. Het enige nadeel is dat dit verblijf een stukje van la Fortuna afligt. Maar dit is wel goed aan te rijden. Ik zou dit zeker aanraden! "
