Cabin Retreat – Hot Tub, Game Room and Fireplace

THE BARKING BEAR is a charming new log cabin that offers you the peace and serenity of a cabin in the woods while being less than a mile from all the excitement in town, making it the perfect getaway. Full of magical mountain charm, it features upscale mountain decor, spacious living areas, breathtaking master suites, in-room jacuzzi tubs, a hot tub, 2 scenic decks, and a game/movie room with a pool table, Golden Tee, arcade games, and much more!

The space
Upon entering THE BARKING BEAR you will walk into a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, a beautiful kitchen, dining area, and living area all wonderfully furnished with tasteful mountain decor.

You will enjoy relaxing in the Living Room and watching your favorite movie or show while getting cozy by the stone fireplace. Next to the Living Room is the dining area which has a beautiful wooden table that sits 6 plus. There is additional seating on the adjustable vintage stools that line the kitchen bar which offers a casual place to dine or relax and entertain in the kitchen area. The large open kitchen includes a gorgeous stone backed breakfast bar and new appliances (oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher), including a coffee machine, toaster, blender, and can opener. The kitchen has all the dishes, cookware, and utensils/tools you will need to make your family's favorite meal and/or prepare a for a holiday celebration.

The Living Room opens up to the main deck which runs the length of the back of the cabin. There are custom wooden rocking chairs and rocking bench to relax and enjoy the view. Or you can enjoy the view while relaxing in the bubbling HOT TUB that will be ready & waiting for you any time of day or night!

The first Master Bedroom is located on the main level. Enjoy a good night's sleep in the cozy, super comfy king-sized bed or lay back and relax in the in-room jetted Jacuzzi tub. The Master also has a flat screen TV, hanging closet, custom wooden dresser, and en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and standup shower.

The second Master Bedroom is located on the lower level. It has the same luxurious set-up, including the king-sized bed, in-room jetted Jacuzzi, TV, full en suite bathroom, etc.

Both the main level and the lower level have pullout queen sleeper sofas. The lower level also has a half bathroom.

The lower level has a spacious Family/TV Room and premier Game Room updated a brand new GOLDEN TEE! Relax on the 2 comfy leather couches and watch your favorite show on the SmartTV while enjoying the unique coffee table that doubles as a FOOSBALL table (perfect for all ages). Enjoy a game of pool on the slate POOL TABLE while watching the 2nd TV, so whatever angle you are shooting from you won't miss a minute of the game. The Game Room also has the latest and greatest ARCADE GAME! The Multi-cade has 60 games for you to choose from. You can access the lower deck from the Game Room where you can enjoy the great outdoors while relaxing on the rocking chairs and/or playing CORN HOLE!

The cabin has a washing and dryer on the main level and an iron & ironing board for your convenience. The cabin is equipped with the fastest internet/wifi available in the area. The cabin has 5 flat screen TVs all with premium cable.

THE BARKING BEAR can easily become your log cabin OFFICE and/or CLASSROOM in the woods! Like we said the cabin is equipped with the fastest internet available and there is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out their work on the large dining table or on the kitchen bar. Get away from the distractions of your own home office or classroom and come focus in the peaceful serenity you will find at THE BARKING BEAR!

The cabin is located in the charming resort of Alpine Mountain Village. The resort provides all our guests with access to 2 outdoor pools, covered picnic pavilion & hiking trail.

LOCATION! LOCATION!! LOCATION!!! You truly cannot beat this fantastic location. The cabin is located less than a mile away from the Parkway, the heart of Pigeon Forge. You are only minutes from all the marvelous attractions of Pigeon Forge and not far from Gatlinburg, the Art District, and of course the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! It is literally a hop, skip & barely a jump to all the excitement and adventures you could want and more! One of the things that makes THE BARKING BEAR so special is you can be in the heart of it all, but when you are at the cabin you feel tucked away in the mountains so much that "Bear Crossing" signs are appropriate. We promise that the cabin & the location will not disappoint!

There is space to park 2 cars in front of THE BARKING BEAR. Oversized vehicles, RVs, & trailers are prohibited. No pets and no smoking.
