Geniet van het uitzicht op de bergen vanuit de hot tub op het gangboord. Trek voor wat downtime-plezier gewoon de schijven, bordspellen, dominos of kaarten. Als u de voorkeur geeft aan videogames, hebben we een Gamecube en een verscheidenheid aan games, of selecteer een van de meer dan 70 films uit de dvd-bibliotheek.

CABINE LAY-OUT: Er is een stap in de cabine en dan een korte oprit. U komt op de begane grond woonruimte met de woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken rechtdoor. De badkamer op de begane grond bevindt zich aan uw linkerhand. Neem de trap naar het lagere niveau. Alle slaapkamers bevinden zich hier, samen met de tweede complete badkamer. Toegang tot de hot tub en het benedendek is beschikbaar vanuit elke slaapkamer.

BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING OVER INTERNET: kabel is niet beschikbaar op de berg, dus de volgende beste optie is satelliet-WiFi. In tegenstelling tot kabel heeft Dish Satellite internet echter geen onbeperkte bandbreedtepakketten. We bieden elk gastverblijf 2 GB bandbreedte. Als je alleen maar door webpagina's bladert en e-mails controleert, zou het goed moeten zijn. Maar als je Netflix, YouTube of andere livestreaming of downloads wilt bekijken, zul je die 2 GB binnen een dag of twee opslorpen. GELIEVE UW INTERNETGEBRUIK EN BEHOEFTEN VOORDAT U BOEKT.

HUISDIERENBELEID: Als u uw volwassen hond (minstens één jaar oud) wilt meenemen, moet uw huisdier een vlo- en tekenbestrijdingsprogramma hebben. Het is heel belangrijk dat honden voorafgaand aan de reis worden gebaad en geborsteld om het afstoten te minimaliseren. Onze huisdierentoeslag is $ 95 per hond, maar als er teveel hondenbont op bedden, meubels of tapijt achterblijft, wordt er een extra schoonmaakbeurt in rekening gebracht. Meerdere huisdieren worden per geval bekeken. Als uw hond krat-getraind is, raden we u aan om hem mee te nemen zodat uw huisdier zich prettiger voelt. Honden kunnen niet worden opgesloten in slaapkamers of badkamers vanwege het risico op krabben of kauwen.

Great cabin with an awesome view

The cabin was nice and had everything we needed. The best views and the beds were comfortable!! The drive was easy enough and parking was good. There wasn't a lot of room to walk the dogs but it wasn't an issue for me.

Great location

Overall experience was good. Tv in the upstairs living room kept freezing up (we could only watch movies there or Baywatch reruns). The TVs in the bedrooms worked fine. Jacuzzi was nice and cozy.

Yes the view was Beautiful!!! But, the couch upstairs is awful. It has barly any cotton in it for your back. The lamp in living room was broken falling apart. The microwave was broken couldnt use it. The fan in the living room was pure dust. The whole house and bathrooms were dusty. The back of the headboard and bed and sheets were dirty like know one has cleaned back there in a long time. The Jacuzzi looked clean when I first saw it. But the filters I saw was filthy. I didnt even use the Jacuzzi. The ice in the freezer had pinkish/red liquid frozen all over the ice. It wasnt dumped out and cleaned at all! The dinning room table is all stained! The upstairs shower had black hair all over the shower wall. I have bright RED hair and my daughter has dark blonde hair, my husband is bald so it wasnt ours. Yes the owner was nice in the beginning and answered all of our questions we asked him. He did refund our money back also for the cabin when we stayed December 6th-11th 2020. But still havent gotten my refund from the site yet. My family and I havent been on vacation in over 2 years and we were so excited to go relax and enjoy the cabin and we didnt at all. If you have dogs DO NOT rent this place if your taken your animals. There is NO place for them to go out and use bathroom we had to drive 10min every time we took our dogs out to use bathroom and we have 2 dogs. I saw so many excellent reviews and thought this was going to be perfect but it was dirty and miserable. I didn't even wanna stay there so we just stayed out most of the time and just sleeped there when we needed to sleep. But never again. The deck was Beautiful and the outside lights too. But couldnt enjoy it at all. I was excited for the Jacuzzi for my family but the filters were nasty. Didnt want us to get in there. The grill was not clean and had old stuff growing inside of it. Hope he gets someone in there to clean and detail that cabin and remove broken furniture and appliances before someone else rents it. Cause what we went threw, we hope someone else doesnt go threw the same thing!!!

Better than the pics in real life. House is cozy! Nice personal touches for pups. Very clean. Views are lovely. Close to stores and restaurants, but you still get the secluded mountain feel on the property. We enjoyed hiking in great smoky mountain national park. Few delivery options for food, surprisingly!

Amazing views, convenient location.

We booked this cabin mainly for the views and they did not disappoint! The trip was with my in-laws, husband, 2 small dogs and 14 month old child. We wanted to do things in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and this location was great. About a 25 minute drive either direction. Pros: View; location; cozy deck area at night for hot tub; well stocked kitchen including Kuerig, high chair, all the tableware and bakeware you really need; stocked amenities such as shampoo, dish soap, etc.; comfy king size beds; lots of movies and games supplied. Cons: older house so there are limited ceiling lights making rooms dark once the sun sets; carpet on stairs and lower level feels yuck and has some stains seemingly from dogs (I packed my house shoes and would recommend you do so); floor upstairs is extremely squeaky so if you have a little one napping during the day you may want to entertain yourself outside; no great area at house to walk dogs, we just walked ours down the road to a grassy area. Overall we had a great time and would recommend staying at this cabin. It’s an older cabin with some wear but you can tell the owners put effort into making your stay pleasant.

Fantastic view!

We had a great time during our stay at the Grandview! The view is just that...GRAND! It's exactly as advertised. The cabin was very clean. Having the rooms on one floor and the living room/kitchen on the main floor worked out well for us. Everything you can think of was provided in the cabin. There are no ceiling fans in the rooms but fans were provided so again, the owners have thought of EVERYTHING. Beautiful views from decks on both levels. The cabin was on a steep winding road but well worth the drive to get that view. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Beautiful Views

Although we didn’t spend much time at the cabin, it was just what we needed for our getaway. The porch and deck provided beautiful views and the hot tub was perfect after a long days drive and hiking. The cabin could use a deep clean - we found cobwebs in the corners and hair on the bathrooms floors. We didn’t use much in the kitchen but it was well stocked. We didn’t have issues with cell service or the internet. We just wish we were a few weeks later to see the fall colors in the mountains. Overall, a great stay!

Scenic View

Very pretty views of the mountains, the hills to get up to the cabin are very steep & narrow in some spots, definitely recommend an AWD vehicle. The cabin could have been cleaner, we found trash behind and under furniture. We were able to bring our pets and they found old food tucked away under furniture. The location is good, enough supplies besides toilet paper were there. The hot tub is in a good spot. There’s one board on the top deck that’s a little weak to walk on & when it rained, we got wet from the gutter needing cleaned out and water running over. Other the that, we had a good time, enjoyed the views with our morning coffee. P.S WE SEEN BEARS!! Very cool! BRING A FLASHLIGHT, it’s VERY DARK in the hills at night! Lol

Amazing View

We were so pleased with this cabin. #1 perk was the view!!! Having coffee on the deck while enjoying the view is a great way to start your day. The space was great and comfortable for our group. Brad (Owner) was very responsive the few times I needed to contact him. The location was great for those who like to go into Smoky Mountain National Park because you actually come out at the last stop light on the south end of Pigeon Forge so you miss a lot of the traffic.

Stayed for a Wedding

The property was clean and well stocked. Great amount of towels, garbage bags, soap and all you would need! I find most VRBO only have the samples and you bring your own, so this was fantastic. It is a great location, at the end of Pigeon Forge and before Gatlinburg and the smokey mountain entrance. View is spectacular. Kitchen small but very functional. Very dog friendly, loved the treats left for them plus dog bowls! So thoughtful. Only 1 thing to consider when booking, in my opinion :), We had very spotty reception and we use Verizon, the best option apparently. I was unable to receive or send calls. Text were sketchy as well. They did have a phone, which appeared to be powered by Verizon, but it would not receive or make calls. (There were no special instructions for the phone) The WIFI is good, but it is limited, which they are very clear upfront in their description! As we left our kids at home, it was very important for them to be able to contact us. We decided one would have to stay on WIFI so they could contact us. However we still could not make calls, so in an emergency we would have had to go down the hill to make a call. Should not be a deal breaker on the cabin, but I feel it is an important point to keep in mind when planning a trip.

Fantastic Place

We are so grateful for this place! It made our vacation that much more memorable. The view was hard to leave. The cabin had plenty of sleeping space, a great kitchen and the perfect deck for peacefully enjoying the Mountain View. We highly recommend!

Social distancing in the mountains

This cabin was the perfect stay for my family. It was cute, clean, and homey. It was well equipped for my children, with games, high chair, a gate, and a pack and play. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The location is very easy to get to and right off the parkway. Property was clean, only a few nit picky things really. The bedrooms downstairs didn’t have ceiling fans and it got very hot at night. There were coverings over the windows in the bedrooms instead of blinds which were sort of awkward and bulky. View from the cabin is great! I would suggest packing extra toilet paper and trash bags, but a great place to stay overall.

Great place to stay!

Everything we hoped for. We first looked at Sherwood Forest properties...this was so much better. Private, gorgeous views, well maintained - everything we hoped for. Would stay here again.
