We booked a cabin for the week and specifically to play pool at the cabin. Prior to booking, we contacted the host to relay our interest in pool table specifically & confirm table was fully functioning & level. We were told that it was.The condition may be acceptable for guests who rarely play pool, but not for those who play regularly & booked based on this amenity. The pool table is not full size nor was it level. It is also positioned too close to the wall, making it impossible to shoot properly on all sides. Short pool sticks were provided for the sides near wall, but the tips on those sticks were in very poor condition. Had the actual conditions been accurately represented, we would not have rented this cabin. That said, the cabin itself was extremely clean. For us, the hot tub and seated arcade game were the best features of the property and were well maintained. The deck felt fairly private due to the cabin’s elevated position on the hill. However, the location is very close to the main road, and road noise was noticeable.The couch in the living room was just okay; we were able to get comfortable by bringing pillows from the bedroom. The bed was fairly comfortable. The kitchen was average, adequately stocked for a weekend stay. While there were several positives, the inaccurate representation of a key amenity was very disappointing and significantly impacted our experience.
