'We check in at 7:40 PM, only to be informed that the pool closes at 8:00 PM. The big reason we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool, for the kids to swim since the weather was terrible. They also said the pool don’t open until 12:00PM the next day. We come down for breakfast around 8:00 AM after everyone had shower only to see kids in the pool. 'The property was a little older but clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room had a leaking AC unit that was causing a mess in the bathroom. They were unable to move us to another room since the hotel was at full capacity. The staff did supply us with additional towels to keep the water leak under control. The AC unit was taking long to cycle causing higher temperatures in the room while sleeping. The breakfast choices were adequate and the area was kept very clean.'

'We stopped in for the night in passing through. Myra was the front desk attendant & bartender. She was very friendly, helpful and professional. She went above and beyond to help us kick off our vacation. We would definitely stay at Hawthorne again. The facility was very clean, super comfortable bed, great customer service! Reasonably priced as well. Thanks again!'
