'The AC was delayed in the response and took a little bit of getting used to, might want to have a note for future guests. The place was very cozy and we loved how the outdoors was just as fun as indoors.'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'Kevin at the front desk and Sam, doorman were so kind and provided assistance when needed. The room is always clean, the bath had quality amenities, and the snacks wonderful. The Lancaster is my favorite hotel in Houston and highly recommended to those visiting the area.'
