Casitas bij Madrona Ranch - Casita

De casita ligt aan een meer met een prachtig uitzicht op het heuvelland en de natuur.

Ik ben op zoek naar een rustige omgeving met adembenemende uitzichten, dit is het. Deze prachtig ingerichte casita ligt op een 14 hectare groot terrein gedeeld met het huis van de gastheer en is gelegen in een vallei met uitzicht op een meer op Red Bluff Creek. Boerne, met zijn leuke winkeltjes en heerlijke restaurants, ligt op slechts tien minuten afstand, dus het biedt het beste van twee werelden. Wildlife in overvloed met de herten die recht naar de patio komen en natuurlijk is dit een geweldige plek om te vogels kijken, zwemmen en uitstekend vissen.

De cabine heeft een kingsize bed met een tweede kingsize onderschuifbed, satelliet stereo en tv met dvd, kitchenette met magnetron, broodrooster oven, kleine koelkast en koffiezetapparaat, bad met douche, hotelbox A / C en verwarmingseenheid, veranda en patio gebied met een houtskoolgrill, chiminea en een vuurplaats. Er is toegang tot een wasmachine en droger, geen telefoon maar goede mobiele service. Paardrijden is in de buurt beschikbaar en kleine honden met een riem zijn welkom.

Lovely cozy cabin in natural surroundings

This small cabin is on a larger rural property where the owners have their house. However, the cabin is separated from the main house and other structures, and a small privacy fence enhances the feeling of being apart. The cabin faces onto a small valley and small lake, with a nice view of the surrounding hills. The lake attracts large herons, and there is a herd of deer that seems to like the property - we saw them every day of our stay. The patio and outdoor area are perfectly set up to relax and enjoy nature, with several comfortable seating options. The entire area is shaded by live oaks and other trees, making it pleasant even in a Texas heat wave - the breeze helps. We would sit out there every morning after sunrise and every evening before sunset to just watch the wildlife and enjoy the view. While there is nothing in the immediate vicinity of the cabin, the location is a good base to explore the area, including being 10-15 min from Bandera and Boerne - both towns offer charm, shopping and good restaurants. A little further out is Comfort, and even Kerrville is easily accessible for more options. The cabin itself is one large room and a bathroom, all very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The AC works great. There is a small kitchen area in one corner and a small dining table area in the opposite corner. The bathroom is good size and well-furnished. There is a shower enclosure which is a little tight. The bed is a large king and very comfortable.

Absolutely Beautiful!

The casita was amazing! Such a charming and cozy little place! It was very clean. I felt very comfortable while we were there. And to reiterate, the casita was so very charming!! The views from the back patio were breathtaking! A much needed city escape! We absolutely love the hill country! The check-in process had a few snags… After 2 attempts, we still didn’t receive our check-in instructions via text, however, the host company was very responsive to an 11pm sos message for help with getting inside. There was some confusion about our check-in date so there were no lights on when we got there and the air had been off so it was quite warm. Once we turned the AC on, it cooled in no time. We were sort of bummed as The property description on VRBO was somewhat misleading. We were under the impression that we would be on a multiple acre, private getaway and were looking forward to the ‘by-our-selves’ relaxing get away all weekend. However, the casita is situated right beside the property manager’s home and another home so you did not have the privacy that the ad lead us to believe. So that was a little disappointing after driving over 4 hrs to get there. Overall, the casita was a beautiful and charming getaway in the hill country that is a must see!! Thank you to the property manager and host company for being responsive to our needs!

Heaven on Earth

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. From feeding the deer in the morning to watching the Fireflies dance at night, Casitas did not disappoint. The bed, oh the bed, was like sleeping on a cloud. Keith and Shirley are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If you are looking for beauty and peace, I highly recommend this very special place. We can’t wait to return. 🙂

Perfect Getaway Spot

Everything about this casita was perfect. The description online matched reality. It was beautiful, peaceful, close enough to explore Bandera and Boerne, and still get back in time for hot tub and fire time in evening. The hosts were so kind! Don't recommend! Discrimination

Me and my husband booked for three nights and instead left after one night. This was our little honeymoon get away for a few days and we were disappointed. We were never greeted when we got there. There was no hot water, we took cold showers. The pictures online are false. The creek had barely any water it was extremely low. They need to update their pictures of the view of the creek as this was why we booked in the first place. It is not worth staying as the view included the creek. There was no hospitality, at least not for us. Very disappointing! Do not recommend! Bad discriminating vibes in this place.

Fabulously Quiet & Peaceful

We had such a lovely stay at the Casitas. I was looking for a quiet place for us to chill and unwind. This place was perfect.
