After reading the 8.8 out of 10 rating. I must have gone to the wrong property. The kitchen area was ok. And usable. The dining area. Well the carpet looks like it was bought from a closing down pub. Covered in splash marks. Moving on to the living area . An open fire looks ok. But the smell of soot is overwhelming. But when you get the window open you will find an industrial size extractor fan from the hotel across the road. Pointing straight at the property. Blowing in the window. You can smell what is on the hotel menus. At night when they are cooking meat . The smoke from the fat is visible. But whilst blowing in the window mixes well with the soot smell. Giving the living room a certain ambiance. The bedroom. Yes the en-suite toilet. It’s a toilet in a cupboard. The home has more air freshener than the local co-op but it’s ok very few work. The outdoor seating area . A small round table with dirty seats next to the hotel car park. Behind the bin . When you do go to bed. You will have the noise of the industrial fan across the road . Switching of and on to help you get to sleep. And no you will be surprised to guess. I won’t be booking again next year.
