The room was reasonably clean upon arrival. However, for a 4 night stay we only received fresh towels and a new bar of soap once when we asked for the promised service. The service should also have included trash removal and making beds, but this did not happen. I specifically asked for the sheets on one of our beds to be changed and to get fresh towels on day 3. I asked twice (two different people), first on the evening before and again the morning of day 3. I saw one front desk clerk write a note , which he said would be given to housekeeping. The second person assured me that housekeeping had been told. I arrived back to the hotel at 11:45PM to find the room had not been touched. No fresh sheets, no towels, no trash removal, nothing AT ALL. Staff offered to give me the sheets and towels so I could do the requested service myself. With no other choice except to move all my belongings (at midnight) to another room, I took the sheets myself. So disappointing. Other notes: beds are almost as hard as the floor. One of 2 elevators was broken for 3 out of 4 nights. Highlights that kept it from being a 2 rating: complementary hot chocolate bar with cookies in the lobby. The lobby was nice. Front desk staff were pleasant but not overly warm and friendly.
