'The St. Elmo is under renovation. We were upgraded to a first floor suite which was nice. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete.'

'It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. We walked it with our 6 year old and had a young buck come right in front of us to cross to the river for a drink. Our son was floored about it. The room was comfortable and...

'Perfect location to downtown Ouray while still feeling a little removed. The access to the Riverwalk allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot the entire trip. Staff were responsive and helpful, while giving us our space as well. Would stay here again.'

Gas tanks not secure on outside appliances. Coffee was in jug that had been used by others , so was sugar. When people were upstairs there was a lot of noise, scraping furniture'
