'Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park.'

'The staff were so nice! The rooms and bathroom were so clean. The building is a little older but everything was in good shape. Free WiFi use and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The price was also fair. It was 90 dollars and a 50 dollar deposit fee but you get the 50 dollars back in your account after 5 days.'

'Good stay for the price. There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up some stairs if you're not staying on the first floor. Our beds were some of the coziest I've slept in and the room and bathroom were very clean. Had a good experience overall as a one night stop off.'

'La peste a tabaco al entrar es muy fuerte e insoportable, ya que está por todas las ares comúnes. La TV de la habitación 127 no funciona. Las sabanas de la cama King son de cama Queen o menor. Hotel tenebroso, debido a los vagabundos en las cercanias. No tienen ni café matinal. En recepción hablan el idioma de ver India, y un poco de inglés. Sitio no recomendable.'

'Keep in mind this is an "extended stay" type of property. There are no niceties in the room including coffee and/or soaps, etc. Also, in IL weed is legal so there is an aroma of the smell all around the place (not sure if coming from rooms or just people smoking a J outside). I would not stay there again.'

'Room was nice and big . Comfortable beds. But it hadn't been cleaned at all. Dirt and grime in the edges of the walls especially in the restroom. Floor hadn't been swept. They scheduled once a week cleaning but all he did was wipe the one counter table and take out trash no vacuum or cleaning of anything else. Took our towels but never gave us more. Sheets had crumbs and hair in them like they had not been changed. Good price and good area. People nice but the cleanlines can be much better.'

'This place is a dumb! The picture advertised is NOT the same property. I checked out immediately and went to another hotel. The ceiling was cracked and peeling. Cigarettes burns in the chair and bed spread. Fridge was not cleaned. Holes in the curtains and walls'

'We were never able to check in. We arrived at the motel at 6:30pm. No one was available to check us in. There was a sign posted outside the office saying that check in was only from 3 to 4pm. We lost the money we had paid for the room, and had to find another hotel to stay in. A drug addict who was staying in one of the rooms was wandering around in the parking lot. He scared my wife.'

'The area is a little questionable. The hotel itself is a little run down and it has a mildew smell. The staff was nice. The room had a bad smell and it all felt wet but it was from the Ac. We eventually got used to the smell. The beds were comfortable tho. The room was dusty and the bathroom was run down. I guess for the price I was expecting better facilities but everything is expensive now. It was an ok stay for us. The coffee at the breakfast was from a machine that was questionable and they...

'The rooms was excellent, clean and ready. Friendly staff. Provided me with the information I needed for my son’s graduation.'

'Everything was excellent! The only issue was that we had to wait in line to use the microwave to heat our meals. If guests are expected to stay for an extended period, it would be much more convenient to have a microwave in each room, or at least easier access to one. Overall, we had a great experience, but adding microwaves to the rooms would make future stays even better.'
