'We stayed with our kids ages 6 and 9. We were the only ones there with kids, but it was great and the kids loved the fireball and jenga. Safe. Well equipped kitchen. Pool to cool off in that the kids enjoyed. Bunk beds were super comfortable. Quiet time is at 11pm but kitchen closed at 10 so it was quiet enough at 10pm. Bathroom situation wasn’t ideal, but it’s a hostel. Close to a small grocery store, super close to the beach, affordable. The highlight was the surfing lessons. Julien was great!...

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'The room was as described, a slight sewage smell and I wasn’t prepared for the racoons but I enjoyed my stay. The beach was nice it’s walkable to a less rocky area. The resort staff were wonderful, it’s walkable to downtown where food, beaches and shops. Jusy offers the best tours and excursions she was also very accommodating. I would go back '

'We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. There is a restaurant on the property which would have been a complete game changer but it wasn't open during our visit in mid-November. The times...
