'Location is nice and convenient, close to ocean and national park. Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. Breakfast was good and nature all around. '

'The hotel has a great location, right at the beach, close to bars and restaurants. Breakfast options right at the other side of the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking on site is very convenient. We selected one of the last available rooms, a budget option, and the room was spacious and clean. Shower was good and beds were comfortable. 'The place was awesome and customer service was beyond great, she was always there for my family when I needed it and I can’t thank her enough how awesome she was with me and my family. 'Property was walking distance to the beaches and town center. Pool was awesome! There's an area with hammocks tables and grill to cook out. We also had a kitchenette in our balcony. It was great cooking outside with the warm breeze. We also had a hammock where we spent a lot of our time listening to the nature sounds. The owner and staff were super friendly and always made sure we were good. '

'Nette kamer met goede dagelijkse schoonmaak. Ideaal gelegen in het centrum. Douche straal is heel zacht,zoals overal in Costa Rica, wel warm. Veel herrie door bouwwerkzaamheden meteen naast het hostel vanaf 7 u s-ochtends.'

'Het dorp is dichtbij, er is een strandje dichtbij. Als je daar geen zin in hebt, dan is de tuin rustig en er zijn twee zwembadjes met prima ligstoelen. Een enthousiaste eigenaar en een opera-zingende papagaai. '

'Erg fijne accomodatie met prachtige tuin. Je hoeft in principe niet weg want er zitten elke dag luiaards in de bomen in de tuin. Fijn zwembad, wel volledig in de zon. Kamer is fijn, met airco en douche met hele goede waterdruk!'

'We had a nice stay here and enjoyed the Caribbean side of CR. We were however not impressed by this accommodation, in our opinion it did not deliver enough value for the money we paid. The breakfast is very nice and the chef very friendly, but that was excluded and cost extra. All minimum services are there, but we have stayed at better places for less money and better hospitality. I guess my suggestion would be to either make it an AirBnB where the guest can use the shared kitchen, or be indeed...
