Very good
We stayed for 3 nights in September. Extremely nice service when checking in and we even got a free upgrade. Breakfast is quite good. The pool on the rooftop is very nice. As long as you don’t have a room on the street side (due to the noisy bar opposite the hotel), you’re in for s very enjoyable stay. I definitely recommend it!

I loved how friendly the staff was. The location was also perfect. Very close to the sea and other pickup spots for tours.

When I first arrived I was given key to wrong room, then I went to room that was dirty, the bed sheets had foot prints and bathroom was dirty. We were moved to another room on other side of bldg which looks abandoned as being remodeled. 3 days the toilet was not working and they practically made us wait til next day, on our last day we couldn’t even use the toilet before taking off to our flight. In the middle of my shower they also turned off the water without notice, overall our experience was just terrible

The hotel is in a transition of change of owner, the room they gave us was uncomfortable since the bathroom was inside the room without division and it was uncomfortable to go to the toilet with your partner in the bed very close to the toilet that had practically no division. There is no iron, there are no drawers To store your clothes in the whole room. 4/10

From the moment you walk in the bleach smell is overpowering. The first room floors were filthy. We were moved to the third floor where the rooms were cleaner however reeking of bleach. No coffee offered in the room, no ice available to use in your rooms. No pool towels available at the pool. No blankets provided on the bed. You had to request that. One towel per person in the room. Hot Water lasts less than 5 minutes if you both use the shower. The only good part is its location by 5th avenue. The music from surrounding bars blasts until 2 am or later. Oh and i almost forgot about the pool area. Food was decent prices good however the staff are not suited to be servers. Orders were constantly messed up. Food was cold. Took 1.5 hours to get breakfast. Pool is decent but few options to get out of the sun and both the restaurant and bar were consistently running out of everything. Used to be a destination now you look forward to leaving. Good luck staying here

Service at rooftop bar was terrible, they would either ignore you or take an hour for a drink or guacamole. Rooms was still dirty even after the maid came and there were ants everywhere.

This hotel offered a clean, comfortable room. Not necessarily in the most quiet area; however, that did not bother us. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and very close to the beach. They also offered beach towels which we could change up daily which was nice. One note about the rooftop pool - it was absolutely beautiful; however, it is somehow separately owned from the hotel and do not allow you to bring outside drinks or food as they have a bar & restaurant. The staff were very nice.

The staff was wonderful about coordinating airport shuttle pick up and drop off. Sandra, was always very responsive and helpful. The staff did upgrade us from a Standard Room to a much larger room. It was spacious. However, we were disappointed for several reasons. -The water did not get hot. It barely got to room temperature. We reported it to the front desk but it did not get any better. Showering here sucked. -They do not provide any comforter, just a thin sheet. -The rooms are not soundproofed. There are several clubs on either side of the hotel. If you're counting on a good night's rest for an early tour to Chichen Itza, you can forget about it. -We returned to our room with the door wide open two days in a row. The first time it happened, we thought maybe we didn't shut the door good when we left. The following day, we conscientiously shut the door making sure it locked behind us. Low and behold, when we returned in the evening, the door was wide open again. My husband immediately reported it to the front desk and security who said they would speak with housekeeping. Luckily nothing was missing. Unlike other 4 star hotels, we noticed this hotel did not provide a blowdryer, robes, houseslippers and wash cloths.

The balcony door was broken so it was highly unsafe especially with all the sensitive document with me. The water wasn’t hot for almost 20 minutes leaving us highly uncomfortable. Water you can work with but lack of safety forces me to ask for a reimbursement. Kindly refund the amount as it was highly inconvenient for us to carry our stuff around the city and it was a big liability and huge inconvenience.

The palm is one of the best locations in playa del Carmen. It’s a short walk to the gorgeous beaches of playacar, nightlife and restaurants are right outside the door, and it’s close to public transportation. The hotel is clean and basic, but comfortable and all one needs for a great time. Make sure to check out happy hour on the rooftop deck. The staff are welcoming and kind!

Los de la recepción son muy amables , tratan de arreglar cualquier inconveniente en la habitación, pero la encargada de limpieza es muy grosera , mentirosa, la llamaron para limpiar en baño ya que estaba sucio y vino diciendo que ya lo habíamos usado y de mal humor , sino le gusta su trabajo que le de la oportunidad a alguien más que si lo necesite y tenga gracia para tratar a la gente.

It was a little less than great service. The pool had a booger or something in it that the staff took their time to take out. The breakfast only had three options. When we arrived we had to have the shower changed because it didn’t work. One night we also took of the sheets and their was a blood stain on the mattress cover. But it was really close to everything. Great location. The rooftop pool was nice and the room is very spacious.

Es un buen lugar para hospedarse en general. Mi habitación es inmensa y también la regadera. Se escucha algo de ruido de centros nocturnos que hay alrededor... Encontré algunos detalles de limpieza en mi habitación que podrían mejorar. Muy buen trato del personal de recepción de el staff de la terraza. Las amenidades, jabón y shampoo, aunque cumplen su función, me parecieron de muy baja calidad. Ubicación inmejorable.

I did like i didnt have hot water for 3 days. Three staff went to correct the problem in which it only worked for 5minuted the hot water. After the rhird day they moved us from the room. They almost made me pay extra like if it was my problem. When it was there problems with the boiler.

The location is perfect (right in the center where everything happens!), but sheltered from noise at night. On-site parking. Beautiful rooftop pool. However, two major issues: the room we stayed in had no windows (except one facing a corridor, so we always had to have the lights on even during the day). There was a moldy smell (lack of ventilation in the bathroom). Also, I don't understand why, on a Saturday afternoon, they started drilling works that lasted almost 3 hours! Instead of resting after a 12-hour flight, we had the noise of the drill! What a shame. One last thing: my partner and I were disappointed after our stay because they stumbled upon a fairly simple and common administrative procedure in France (proof of stay to get a refund for the trip), which we never received. despite the many emails and whatsapp !
