'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. Hotel meals in the evening are ok and also good prized. The room was nice and spacious. Not all was clean though incl a dark stain in a sheet. Nice pool with beds. Our checkout...

'Goed personeel '

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. 'It is a good location close to the port. The rooms are clean but not nice.'

'The place is run down --no closet in rooms not even clothes hangers. Really depressing.'

'I didnt like the dayguests, who only came for the food and alcohol, very loud and some were drunk'

'Playa Los Vivos - wow. Such a special experience. The staff were incredible, especially William. They arranged everything and made sure we had an awesome time.'

'This is a scam! We booked for 3 nights. But there was no appartment at the adress we whent around the area to try and find it. We even found locals to help us out. But the place isn't there. No one from the appartment rentals answer calls or messages. Stay away from this place. '
