We booked this hotel to be close to Corcovado, and booked a tour with the hotel. When we asked for details, they said they said that the communication from Expedia was poor, and they only booked our snorkeling tour. We asked to cancel the snorkeling because the national park was our priority. She said they couldn't because they already bought the tickets....

'Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. '

'The cabina had an extra extraordinary view. We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!'

'We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was really clean wit amazing, open spaces and a nice pool. The washroom was clean and the rooms were really comfortable with AC and multiple beds, towels, and some blankets. Raquel was an awesome host and gave us really great recommendations nearby including restaurants and a convenience store. 'The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff...

'Wonderful, accommodating, and attentive staff!! Beautiful lodge and rooms. Jungle and gorgeously landscaped flowering grounds surround the lodge. The food was delicious and in ample amounts. We did the snorkeling trip to Cano island and the hike in Corcovado park. Saw lots of wildlife on both, though even at the lodge we saw Macaws, a Toucan, Capuchin monkeys, and a large snake climbing a tree! 'Great location, rooms were clean but small and old fashioned. Electric shower head with loose wires. Price compared to rest of Costa Rica overpriced. Location was great however, close to the beach and start of tours to Corcovado. We paid around 100 euros a night for a standard room. You have to take some stairs for some rooms up hill so keep that in mind. '

'Wer Luxus mag ist hier falsch. Sehr einfache Unterkunft im Jungle mit einem so herzliche lieben Gastgeber. Das Essen ist toll die Lage im Jungle sucht ihres gleichen. Die Touren die Angebot werden sind definitiv authentischer als jene welche man in der Sirena Station geboten bekommt.
