Best weekend EVER!!!
My husband and I frequent Baja several times a year and have stayed all over. This experience was by far the best we’ve had. David and David are exceptional hosts. The place was absolutely stunning. Our dog had a blast. It was quite literally perfection! When I first read the very favorable reviews for this place I wondered how it could be so good. Well now I know. Do yourself a favor and book this place asap! We cannot wait to go back! Thank you David x2 for everything!

Beyond words - Best Experience/ Beautiful Stay
My sister and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Martini. David and David are hosts that dreams are made of. The attention to detail was exceptional with not a detail missed To create a five star experience. From the moment we arrived until when we pulled away we felt welcomed and cared for at every turn. While it seems impossible La Casa Martini is even more beautiful then the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy and you could tell a lot of thought was put into every decision. We arrived on a cooler night and David had the heat on to take the bite out of the air. Making our first steps into our home for the next several days cozy and inviting. The View from the patio and large bay window is unparalleled. Leaving you satisfied whether sitting inside or outside. The beach is only steps away making it an easy walk. The beach felt safe and was very clean. Every time we came and went David made an effort to check in with us to ensure we didn’t need anything. David is extremely Knowledgeable about the area and you can tell he loves where he lives and he’s proud to show it off. There was a fully stocked kitchen as described. You can tell David and David genuinely care about their guests and love meeting new people. We left feeling like we had a couple of new friends. We can think of no where else we would rather stay when visiting the area and will definitely visit again soon.

Extraordinary
Casa Martini is exquisite. Immaculately kept with a first class attention to detail. The casita is very well laid out and the interior is beautifully decorated, the large picture window with the view of the ocean is a highlight. The outside garden and sitting areas are a magical place to relax and watch the ocean and sunsets. The outside murals and decor make you feel like you are in an oasis (which you are!). One thing that sets this property apart from others we have rented is what wonderful hosts David and David are, thoughtful and highly personable. From the thorough orientation upon arrival, helpful suggestions about the area and gracious/prompt responses to any question we had, they go far above to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. They also welcomed our little dog like she was family and looked in on her if we were away for the day - an added touch that made a huge difference. Absolutely everything you can think of is provided for you at Casa Martini, the list is too long to note here. Our 3 week stay was one of our best experiences with a vacation rental anywhere in the world & we highly recommend it! Thank you David & David for creating such a wonderful escape - we didn’t want to leave and are all ready looking forward to returning.

Wonderful Ocean View Casa
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Martini. David and David were great hosts and the Casa was amazing and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed the large picture window all day, every day and the ocean view and sunsets were stunning. We loved exploring the area, from Rosarito to Ensenada and the wine region, the Casa is conveniently located to explore all three.(David has many good recommendations If you stumble on this gem, book it. Beautiful property and spectacular ocean view!
David and David are wonderful hosts. This is our 3rd stay at casa martini. The proximity to the ocean is great and being able to watch the ocean from the living room or balcony is very relaxing. Casa Martini is very comfortable and welcoming. We love it here. We'll be back!

A true get away
This was a vacation for us that was marked as the beginning of my retirement. A place to see the Baja coast and leave the rest behind for a while. Mission accomplished! I can't say enough good things about this property. It was home for 3 weeks. The pictures drew me in and they are accurate. Super safe gated community with very gracious hosts that live on site and belong to the community. Perfect location between Rosarito and Ensenada that gives a great base for day trips. Easy beach access. Small markets and great restaurants are close and everyone in the community was nice polite and helpful. If you're on the hunt for a place to stay stop hunting and book this spot or someone else will. Don't miss out.

A casita designed with VRBO guests in mind
Casa Martini is everything we were looking for in Baja Mexico to escape the Arizona summer heat. The casita with its beautiful Mexican tile work is a perfect showcase for the artwork, antiques and murals that Davidx2 have collected over their 41 years together. Even the bathroom sink is a designer collector's item! Davidx2 are gracious hosts and thoroughly enjoy canine visitors as well as human guests. We so appreciated having our puppy watched over and entertained when we were off to play golf. Also, we never lacked dining suggestions which we enjoyed for breakfast and lunch. However, for happy hour and dinner time we couldn't tear ourselves away from the peaceful patio overlooking the garden and the incomparable views of the semi private beach, the ocean's rolling waves, and the incredible sunsets. We have been to several VRBOs and Air B&B's in Mexico and Casa Martini will be the one we will be returning to now. Thank you both! Bonnie, Gary, and Abby August/Sept 2021

Cute colorful little guest house
It was my first trip crossed the border alone with my little puppy. I was naturally nervous and anxious until I entered the house. The host, David was most helpful and kind, treated me as if I was his personal guest. His garden is so lovely with flowering plants and succulents that I enjoyed the most in David’s place. Of course the beautiful beach! I’d like to stay at David’s Casa Martini again if I go back to Mexico. Lena

Great Vacation!
The photographs of Casa Margarita compelled us to choose this casita over other Baja Norte options and we were not disappointed! Surrounded by vibrant colors and original art this property offers great views of gardens, the surf and fantastic Pacific sunsets. The hosts were gracious, kind and committed to making our vacation an awesome experience. The beach was about a 5 minute walk away and compares to many of the beaches we have enjoyed in our 20 years of living in Baja Sur, in other words, it was a great beach. La Mision is close to excellent local restaurants and midway between Ensenada and Rosarito. It was a great vacation overall! Many thanks to DavidX2!

AMAZING
You read the reviews of David’s beautiful property and think they must be overstated...they are NOT! If anything, the photos and reviews do not do this oasis justice. David is the perfect host - he welcomed us with hugs upon arrival, and made himself available if we needed anything. The casita is perfection, and you could easily spend an entire weekend sitting on the porch staring at the amazing ocean view. The sunsets are stunning, there is easy access to a semi-private beach, and a it is a quick trip to Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe. What a perfect spot. We can’t wait to recommend to friends, and come back ourselves as soon as we can. Thanks, David!!!!

The property is amazing! What a view!! You can see the ocean with beautiful sunsets.. So cozy and romantic if that is what you are looking for or just FUN. Walk to the beach all they way to restaurants. Gated and secure. Place was clean and had everything we needed. David is an amazing host. Provided us wine, snacks, and much more! Absolutely perfect!
We had such a relaxing getaway here! The casita is squeaky clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The view is lovely; we enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming in the ocean, and the sunsets were gorgeous. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach is the ideal background noise for falling asleep. We didn't cook anything because there are wonderful restaurants nearby, but the kitchen has everything necessary to prepare a nice meal. David and David are excellent hosts, and we will definitely return. We feel like we found a treasure in Casa Martini!

casa Martini is in a great location for relaxaton but still close enough to explore.
The casita we stayed in at Casa Martini was beautifully decorated with an authentic Mexican flair and had all the conveniences and comforts you need. Could not have asked for anything more!
I stayed here last summer by myself and returned earlier this month with my wife. I was sure she would love it and I was not disappointed. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, the unique artwork and decor as well as the incredible garden. You are also close to the wine country and all the great restaurants in Ensenada. But what really makes this a special experience is David’s hospitality and attention to detail. We could not imagine a more perfect host. He is a walking encyclopedia of local attractions and restaurants. The only time we ignored one of his recommendations, we regretted it. What is amazing is that David manages all this without being the slightest bit intrusive. Being dog people, we especially loved his wonderful Mexican rescue dogs. We’re excited about his expansion and hope to return soon.

The BEST!
My husband and I stayed over the holiday weekend and had the most amazing time! David and David have thought of literally everything to make the stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. The casita itself is SO CUTE! It is clean, bright and decorated adorably (v instagrammable). The location is perfect for getting to the Valle for wine tasting and returning for sunset cocktails. David is incredibly helpful and communicative. At one point my husband needed to have a nap (too much tequila haha) and David literally made him a sandwich to make sure he had something to eat<3. Thank you David and David for an amazing weekend!!! We will be returning, as well as recommending any of our friends heading towards Rosarito/Ensenada to stay here. xo

The property is absolutely stunning! It's artsy, it's earthy, its relaxing.
We arrived at Casa Martini and met David Worthy. He is an amazing character. His house and the casitas are a reflection of his imagination and warm heart. The exterior of the building is beautifully painted. The courtyard is full of beautiful plants and colorful tile. David has incorporated metal art, surf boards, and wooden sculptures into his garden...then, of course, the exterior experience includes the smell, the sound, and the view of the ocean. Its a super short walk the beach. The inside of the casitas is full of color, texture and warm heavy wood. It is a beautiful comfortable place to stay. The patio is a perfect place to have a glass of your favorite beverage and relax with someone you love. This vrbo is a must for any couple looking for a relaxing romantic getaway.

Couldn’t ask for anything better!
David and David have a gem here in La Mision. He provided everything we needed for our stay. He greeted us with a warm hug and toured us through the Casita. Casa Martini is viberently decorated with beautiful fine art, collected antiques, murals, and mexican tile work. There were two bottles of wine from near by Valle do Guadalupe winery, beer, coffee, cream, nuts and water for us to enjoy, David’s host gift to us. He set us up with nice places to dine and shop. Also horse riding on the beach. The view of the ocean and David’s beautiful gardens are spectacular. There is just a short walk down to the beach from the Casa. This place is dog friendly and there is a nice big enclosure where David keeps his beloved rescue dogs. We only have two regrets, we did not bring our dog and our stay was toooo short. Thank you David and David for this lovely stay. It was “way more” then we ever expected. PS our car was hand washed upon our departure, WOW!

Casita for the Ages :)
Wow!!!! My friend and I give the Casita and the hospitality given to us by David and David a resounding thumbs up. The Casita was immaculate with a beautiful view of the Pacific. When we arrived we were greeted by David personally. We had our two doggies with us and never once felt anxious or nervous for their well being while we were out surfing or golfing. Quite the opposite. I think the dogs wanted us to leave more often they were treated so well. Nice area for them to roam as well as David taking them on walks. Our stay had everything we were looking to experience for a couple day getaway. Stress free, not one glitch and a beautiful beach. Close to restaurants and a venture to the wineries if you so choose. Perfect weekend getaway
We LOVED staying at this perfect little getaway. David was a great host and made sure we were very comfortable - even invited us down for ice cream and cake!! Beautiful property!
Beautiful property and well maintained. David greeted us upon arrival with a property tour and tequila! Very warm and welcoming. Quick 3 minute walk down to the beach and 30 minutes to Valle de Guadalupe. La Fonda restaurants and bars super close. We can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful colorful casita was the perfect choice!
My husband, dog, and I stayed at casa Martini for a weekend getaway and we had the best time! Photos don’t do this charming casita justice. The owners David and David are so warm and helpful and made sure everything was just perfect for our stay. They offered to help dog sit our dog while we we’re wine tasting and gave us amazing tips on restaurants. We can’t wait to go back and visit.. it’s a true gem!!

VRBO Needs to Add a 6th Star Review Choice - Casa Martini Even Better Now
My husband and I and our dog stayed three nights last week at David Worthy's amazing property. Our last visit was during Christmas 2016. I rarely get around to doing reviews, but I did after finding Casa Martini that first time. We were so impressed with the beautiful casita, the grounds, the view, and especially with our host, David, that I really wanted to write one. I say host instead of property owner, because that is exactly what he is. We could only imagine what his friends experienced staying there if he gave complete strangers such royal treatment. So this second visit, instead of just referring you to my first five-star review that detailed everything, I just wanted to write to say that all of the great reviews are true, and not only that, if anything, David seems to be upgrading his "brand" even more. We were no longer strangers and he couldn't do enough for us. He took our dog out while we went wine tasting and since our car was completely dusty after the trip to the Guadalupe Valley, insisted on having our car washed before we left Actually he doesn't know any strangers, so if it's your first visit, you'll get the same Platinum experience. His garden is growing more beautiful and he's added even more art and accessories to invoke the beautiful Mexican style. We couldn't love going here more and can't wait to get back. I'd say I wished Casa Martini was closer to us in LA County, but if if were, we probably couldn't afford it, and probably couldn't get a reservation for that matter. Plus you'd have a crowded beach instead of the peaceful playa at La Mision. That's it. I know we've all read reviews on Yelp, etc.where people lament that the place "ain't what it used to be"; this is NOT one of those places. Thank you David!

My favorite place in Northern Baja
This is my third stay here in less than a year, it is just a wonderful place to stay. The decor is amazing, the ocean view is great and the area has all sorts of entertaining things to do. These include the fine dining of Valle Guadalupe, wine tasting, surfing, horseback riding, or even just walking on the beach. But, what makes this place really great is your host David, if you need a light bulb he has one, if you need a dinner recommendation or someone to watch your dog he is on it. He and his workers will carry your luggage, wash your car and in general completely make sure you have a great stay.

An amazing place to stay!
This had to be one of our favorite Airbnb's that we've ever stayed in. The grounds were beautiful, the house we stayed in was romantic, relaxing, colorful, had all the amenities you could ask for, the view of the beach and the house yard was spectacular. The hosts David and David were so accommodating and friendly. We even went to dinner with them the first night and had a great time. I could not recommend a better place than La Mision. And the cherry on top was that they wash your car right before you leave. The location was perfect as you are right in the middle of Ensenada and Rosarito Beach. The wineries are around 20 minutes away. And if you don't feel like driving to eat, there are two really good restaurants right down the street. And the beach is right down a flight of steps and is private. We loved La Mision and can't wait to go back!! Karen and Dorene

Outstanding, spacious Casita in gated community conveniently located
We are returning renters. David / David are outstanding hosts. The Casita is immaculate just as it was on our first visit. We love this place. The view of the ocean and garden is spectacular. The Owners go out of there way to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They also provide outstanding recommendations for restaurants, day trips and things to do. We have been coming to La Mision for over 20 years and have stayed at several properties at this community. This is by far the best property. We will continue to stay here and have told many of our friends as well. Thank you David Worthy for another outstanding stay!

Beautiful home, amazing location, lovely hosts! Wish I could give it 6 stars!
I enthusiastically recommend Casa Martini! The casita has an amazing view and is just a quick walk from a beautiful sandy beach. The colors, decor, and gardens are even more vibrant in real life - the photos don't do it justice. David is an incredible host who has thought of every detail to make his guests feel at home and comfortable. The area and property feel completely secure and safe. David & David are very kind-hearted people, and it's truly a pleasure spending time with them and their friendly community. Casa Martini is an amazing getaway! In addition to relaxing and enjoying the beach, there was so much to do in the area as well. We ate lunch in Puerto Nuevo at Angel del Mar, breakfast at La Fonda Dymtri (which is delicious and close by), rode horses on the beach with Horses by Jose, did a full day trip to Valle de Guadalupe (which was only 35 minutes away), and visited the town of La Mision with David. We can't wait to go back! If you're planning a visit to Baja, this is the place to go!

Amazing travel experience
A really lovely casita with very welcoming hosts. My best advice, is to pick your dates and click that book it button. You will have truly great time and honestly you wont find a better travel experience in Northern Baja, so stop searching

Friendly, cozy, colorful, welcoming, and right by the beach!
We stayed at the Casita over a long weekend and it was the ideal place to just chill out with our dog. The Casita is super colorful, decorated with beautiful blankets and tiles. It has everything you might need incl. kitchen, coffee-maker, fireplace, balcony with grill, wifi, blankets, and gorgeous views (we saw dolphins right from our living room window). David and David are very welcoming and caring hosts, their many dogs are adorable and friendly, and the whole community is very welcoming - if you are here when there is a party going on, you may well get invited. The beach is a 3min walk away and was lovely and quiet. In the local vicinity there are enough restaurants, takeouts, and shops to keep you supplied as well. Given the chance I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Home
First of all, David and David were excellent hosts. Upon our arrival David W. greeted us and gave us a tour of the home and instructions on the use of the TV and wifi. He also went above and beyond as he provided us with beer, wine and chocolate. My wife and I have been to many rentals over the years but we have never stayed at one as beautiful and comfortable as this one. We had a nice picture window view of the ocean and the garden. Just the interior of the home will keep you entertained by the collection of decorations. There are three restaurants within half a mile of the home and they have live music at all of them. We also went to the Valle de Guadalupe wine country which was about a half hour drive. We definitely plan on returning to the home and the wine country.

AMAZING
From our warm welcome by David Worthy 😊 To beyond expectation of this place perfectly comfortable for two you feel at home extremely clean the decor to everything you need to the comforts of enjoying your stay But the VIEW !!! was OUTSTANDING !!! It took my breath away !! Perfection!
I was looking for a place to rent somewhere between Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico that would welcome my dog. David and David's Casa Martini in La Mision popped up and I was sold from the photos and description, but the reality is even better! I have traveled extensively and can honestly say that this hacienda is one of the most charming, beautiful, and enjoyable places I have stayed. Everything you could possibly want or need is there, (except for a TV but who needs that on a Mexican vacation, anyway?). David Worthy could not be a better host, and the price is a steal. The endless, wide beach is a block or so walk from the house, and good restaurants are within a five - 10 minute drive. My friend picked me up at the San Diego airport, and La Mision is an easy 1 1/2 hour drive from there. We shopped in Ensenada one day (about 25 miles south), and drove a few miles north another day to shop in Puerto Nuevo. The house is beautiful, filled with art, and designed to accommodate no more than two people. It's situated in a gated community of lovely homes and feels very safe. I would recommend Casa Martini to anyone looking for a relaxing Mexican vacation in an upscale, lovely environment.

Breathtaking and amazing! Home sweet home and safe.
My husband and I spent a week here and it was delightful. David was very helpful on any and everything we needed help with. Casa Martini had all the comforts of home (and then some) with Mexican flair accents. It was bittersweet when we had to leave. Didn't want to leave such a beautiful and amazing home. In the morning, we enjoyed coffee on the deck watching the waves rolling, then again in the evening while grilling dinner and watching the sunset. Every part of the property is well decorated, vibrant and well kept. The place was very secure, we didn't lock up for our entire stay. That says a lot. Before I rented it, I read the reviews which were all very positive. Now I know why. You will be amazed by everything Casa Martini has to offer!

Fantastic private beach getaway!!!
My husband and I rented this wonderful casita for 4 nights and fell in love with it, the area and the owner! David greeted us at the door upon on our arrival and gave us a complete walk-thru of the casita and showed us where everything was and how things operated. The casita is very nicely appointed with special attention to all the little details from the artwork, to the custom woodwork and especially the murals! David's personal touch truly made it glow. The incredible ocean view from the huge picture window in the living room makes you not to want to leave the living room but with the beach only 2 minutes walking distance, you find yourself drifting down to the ocean's edge every chance you get. We were able to leave the windows open at night so we could here the waves! This property is perfectly located in between Rosarito and Ensenda and only about 30 minutes from the wine country, Vale de Guadalupe. David recommend several restaurants close by which we tried but fell in love with the food, atmosphere and service of Dymitri's La Fonda. If you are looking for a private, safe, friendly and beautiful vacation rental, David's Casa Martini is it! We will be returning as soon as we can!
