'Casa Anabela is in the historic centre of Quito and is walking distance to the Plaza de la Independencia and most of the major attractions in the area. Breakfast has cold and hot options. They make you eggs and coffee to your liking. The bathtub was very relaxing after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. 'I arrived on Sept 14 night, and the owner was very friendly. She was already waiting for my arrival. As my flight leaving for Santiago, Chile is after midnight, I was a bit nervous to ask the owner whether I could leave my luggage after check-out, she was very generous to allow me to stay late till I leave for the airport at 21:00 tonight. 'The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. 'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...
