Excellent location and home!
Great communication with host: super responsive and accommodating. Beautiful views and location. Every level has a deck. You just can’t beat it. Could sit out there all day. Great set up for multiple families (or teenagers) with bathrooms for every bedroom. Details really thought about for guests. Would definitely rent again!

this house was perfect for a long winter weekend with a group of friends to celebrate my retirement. each bedroom is lovely! and each has its own special features and a spectacular view of the sunrise so couple felt like they got stuck with the “bad” room. the common space was perfect for hanging out in our pajamas all day long — cooking in the well appointed kitchen, eating and playing games at the large dining room table, watching tv all hunkered down on the huge sofa. craig was very easy to communicate with and came by to fix two VERY minor problems within hours. i will definitely rent this house again.

Another Magnificent Stay
We love this house and host! The views, amenities, and location are perfect. Even in mid-February, our stay was fantastic. We’ve stayed here multiple times and on each visit the home was perfectly prepped, clean and inviting. In our opinion, this is the perfect vacation home.

Simply luxurious!
Cliff House is magical! From the moment you pull in the driveway, you know you won't be disappointed! From the high quality bedding, to the sharpest knives ever, to the supply of paper goods and spices, there is an attention to detail that you don't often experience in a vacation rental. The expansive floor plan provided the privacy we needed while vacationing with friends while the comfy common space was large enough for all of us to have fun together! The commanding views took our breath away, every day a different show! I would love to return with just my husband for our own quiet getaway! Craig was very accommodating, just a phone call away. This vacation rental is special.

PERFECT HOUSE!!
We are a group of 7 friends that take a long weekend in the fall. This was our 19th year. This house is absolutely beautiful. The house is well appointed, and the view is incomparable. You literally feel like you are on a cruise ship. Craig is very attentive and quick to respond to any question you have with either a text or a call. I would highly recommend staying at Cliff House.

This is our 3rd time staying at Cliff House. Love the layout, especially waking up with the sunrise in the 1st floor bedrooms. Amazing views. Craig has always been very responsive when we’ve needed him. My kids love the hot tub and short walk to the beach. We’ll be back!

the house had everything we needed, kitchen is fantastic, it is a beautifully done house, very comfortable and the landscaping is lovely! I think that because we had some children, we needed extra towels, but they were brought when we requested. Very nice to have had the downstairs kitchenette with family with a baby. I only took away one star because the "beach access", that is close by, was really just an old boat ramp and not very convenient with kids. But really, my fault for not asking enough questions. Craig was great and very responsive, and did a wonderful job on the house! Great location to town also!

Perfection, from sunrise to sunset
The house served as home base for our son's wedding weekend. We hosted the groomsmen and guests, as well as our daughter and her guest. Everyone enjoyed their private spaces while celebrating on the decks on all levels of the home. The kitchen was a dream--so well stocked, perfectly laid out, and the breathtaking views were not missed while preparing food and beverages. This home was one of the best we've ever rented and the attention to detail was much appreciated. We live less than an hour away, but having the opportunity to stay close the wedding venue was ideal and great for everyone to gather in between the weekend festivities.

You Just Can't Beat This View
We had a very enjoyable stay at this Plymouth property. We were there to visit family that lived close by and have a get together with them for my daughter's graduation. The house has a lot of stairs, but it is so worth it to enjoy the breathtaking view. You have 180 degree view of the ocean. When you are sitting inside, it feels like you are right on top of it. There are so many decks to enjoy the view. We enjoyed using the grill, the hot tub, and the firepit. There are a couple of bunnies that would hop around in the backyard which was very entertaining. It was quite chilly a couple of days so we enjoyed the games and puzzles that were there. The king beds can be made into twins which worked great for us. The house is well equipped with paper towels, dish washer and laundry detergent, and even lots of spices and olive oil. The only downside was they have one drip coffee maker and we had some people that were caffeine free so we had to make 2 pots of coffee and reheat. It would be nice to also have a small Keurig or french press available. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs. Craig, the owner, was extremely responsive to every request. He even came by at 10:00 pm when our hot water went out and he was able to fix it quickly. I would definitely recommed this beautiful property.

Attractive home in quiet neighborhood
This home is very well stocked and maintained, clean, with plenty of amenities. The owner was responsive and helpful. Nice size rooms, large kitchen with fully functioning appliances. Beautiful views from multiple levels, you can see the Cape in the distance across the water. We did wish there was direct beach access from this house, but the parking lot is not too far down the road. Grocery store, restaurants and Ellisville Harbor State Park are only a short drive away. Be sure to wake up for at least one sunrise, it's breathtaking!

A completely effortless experience. The views from every room of the house are amazing. His background in architecture and vacation homes is apparent throughout the home. Perfect Family Getaway
The Cliff House is a beautiful home with breathtaking views of the ocean. We loved the open layout of the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The large kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes. All floors had large decks with unobstructed views of the ocean - perfect for watching the sunrise in the mornings. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub which was very clean. It was a perfect home for our annual family getaway. Cliff House is one of the best properties we have stayed at and we look forward to coming back.

This vacation home is beautiful. Everything is upscale. The views are amazing. It’s secluded but is close to all the grocery stores, restaurants and delivery services you may need. I definitely recommend this rental property. Thank you to Craig Lyon for being there as soon as I emailed at the one very small issue we had. This place or the fire pit will not disappoint!!!!

This is our second stay at The Cliffhouse. The setting was perfect for 4 couples. The first few days of our stay were rainy and this property made up for all rainy days. Each suite is spacious and private and all have spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay. Our only regret was that we did not get to enjoy the hot tub due to the weather. We will definitely return to The Cliffhouse in the future. Thank you for a wonderful setting to celebrate an annual pilgrimage to the Northeast!

Simply Gorgeous
The location of this house is absolutely breathtaking! The layout of this house is unique and inviting. The beds were clean and comfortable. When we booked this stay, we thought that the stairs shown in one of the photos belonged to this rental, but there is no beach access from the house. However, there is beach access just down the street. When we first entered the house, we noticed that it was very warm and muggy. In an attempt to cool the house, we lowered the air as low as we could. Still? for the first few days, the house remained miserably warm and uncomfortable for our parents and young grandchild: We reached out to the host and he was quick to respond. He sent an HVAC technician to the house and it was discovered that one of the air conditioning units was frozen. I believe that the unit was frozen prior to our arrival because the house was hot from the moment we first stepped inside. Nonetheless, once the host was made aware of the issue, he remained responsive and offered to have window air conditioning units installed the day before our departure. We understand that sometimes things happen, but when you’re on vacation no one wants to deal with inconveniences and repairmen during a stay. I believe that this house must’ve had air conditioning issues in the past because there are three window units stored in the basement of this property:. Even with being hot and sticky, we did enjoy our time together and I have no complaints about the host’s willingness to correct the issue. The host was quick to let us know that we wouldn’t be charged for the repair of the frozen unit….as well we shouldn’t have been because the house was not cooled upon our arrival. Additionally, the temperature of the house can be controlled by the host via smart technology. Also, while the house does have cameras, we felt like our privacy was lessened by the ring doorbell which monitored our comings and goings. Overall, our stay was lovely.

Yes indeed this home is over the top! We at Cape Cod Five Star have "front desk service "which is unique concept we introduced to our rentals. If you need some thing simply call a number and one of our 22 staff members will do the best they can to solve your issue. Just like any good hotel we have spare heaters and A C units available for each home at each FIVE STAR property. The A. C. problem may have come from the past guest that did not mention it ...but NO it is NOT a common issue at this home. It was very hot and humid and the cooling failed to perform. Windows being open or a temperature below what the cooling system could handle would cause this. We do use nest thermostats in all our homes along with cameras on the parking lot only as mentioned as a safety amenity. Again we like to offer the safety you come to expect from a five star hotel which includes cameras on the parking areas.We have no cameras on the private areas of the home.

Cliff House is as advertised. Breathtaking! Don't think you could ever tire of the house and view. Craig always answered any question/problem I had. The pics online are older, the fire pit is in a much better place on the right and surrounded by Hydrangeas. Downside..I needed more than a week there!!!

The closest beach was surf side which was very rocky, White horse beach was a short drive however it is private and needed parking passes which being from out of town didn’t know how to obtain one! Would suggest that information in your house book. Or include a complimentary pass? Also would suggest running the yard sprinklers at night

Fablous Stay at the Cliff House
VRBO pictures do not do this property justice! It is beautiful inside and out. Each room is fitted with clean, comfortable beds and amenities. The hardest part of our entry was deciding on which room to stay in between grandparents, parents and 3 kids as each room had much to offer. We spent little time watching TV/Movies and much time enjoying the view from the hot tub, playing games and putting together puzzles. It is also a nice location and easy drive to Plymouth history and public beaches, restaurants, and Martha's Vineyard. Highly recommend!

This property is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. The views cannot be beat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There's plenty of room for a large family but you also feel comfortable when it's only a few (there were only 4 of us). Even though the weather didn't cooperate with us, the views from inside the home are magical and the glass panel decks provide for stunning views from almost every room in the house. Definitely a perfect place to get away and spend some quality time with people you care about!

Amazing views, quality furniture/details
Beautiful property with higher end details and a marvelous ocean view. The main living area was absolutely perfect for our group and we loved the ocean views from the entire area. Had some issues with the TVs but we were able to get quick help and/or figured it out with the help of our tech savvy members. Lots of stairs so wouldn't be great for groups with folks that have issues on stairs but our 75+ year old parents did just fine. Hot tub was clean and warm (we've stayed places where this was an issue) - again with amazing ocean views. Bummed we didn't get to use the solo stove but we did utilize the high end Adirondack chairs some at least. Whole group found the beds to be comfy, showers were hot and had good pressure. Loved the covered balcony as we could still get fresh air even when the weather wasn't great. Would be good to have more options for cooking pancakes- there was a small electric skillet but it was broken. No nonstick pans available so had to use regular pan which was more difficult. Overalll great place with plenty of room for everyone! Thanks for allowing dogs too :)

Stunning Location, Less Than Perfect Accommodations
The location was breathtaking. The master bedroom’s direct view of the sunrise was amazing. The house was comfortable. However, we noticed a few maintenance problems during our stay (smell from leak under the kitchen sink, bathroom faucet would not turn to a hot setting, fireplace did not work when we arrived, landscaping project being performed around the house), and some details regarding our check-in were overlooked (leftovers in the refrigerator, dishes in the dishwasher, clothes in the dryer, a guest room missing some towels). While the owner was friendly when we informed him of these items, he placed the responsibility on us for not informing us of these problems while on the trip. No discount was provided for the trouble of a less than perfect trip.

I am happy to hear you found Cliff House breathtaking and comfortable. We strive to make every vacation a five star experience. As far as the few issues you encountered we would have been happy to take care of them right away. We have a 24 hour hot line for assistance with 20 staff to get the job done. This number is listed in three places so you do not miss it. Delays in communication can cause damage to the home. We take communication through the phone with our guest as important .This allows us NOT to bother them with visits reducing there privacy. The cleaners due leave towels in the dryer some times because they are very thick and require a long dry time. (We just added a second dryer to prevent this in the future .) Outside garden work is done between guest (when possible )which is why the application of mulch was not finished . Mowing, spa maintenance and trash removal are all scheduled mid day to allow you privacy also .This is a large home with almost NO free days for service. When your plans call for another visit to Cape Cod please let me know and I can offer you a discount. Craig

The Cliff House is an absolutely stunning property. The panoramic views of Cape Cod bay give this property a major wow factor. The sunset and sunrise are so beautiful. The layout of the house is great for sharing meals and time with friends or family. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, spacious and stylish. Much Needed Break at a 5 Star Property
Everything from booking to gaining access to the home went perfectly. It truly was comforting to the soul to walk in and see those beautiful views of the ocean at high tide with the waves gently cresting on the shore! I am very picky about cleanliness, and the home exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed regarding pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. We did all of our meals in the spacious kitchen and will bring spices next time as there was not much beyond basics. Lots of ways to entertain ourselves when we weren't just soaking up the view - TV, movies, puzzles, books, games. Minimal communication with Craig needed which I think is a tribute to him, the staff and the site. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a much needed mini-vacation!

Beautiful property and location!
The house was even better than the pictures! Every room was designed to maximize the grand water views. The layout enabled privacy for sleeping and wonderful spaces for gathering together inside and outside. The decor was very tasteful with top quality throughout - furnishings, linens, even original artwork! The kitchen was very well equipped (we found it unusual to have double and triple the number of glasses, plates and silverware as residents). Our host was most responsive. We highly recommend the Cliff House.
