When I booked our room, I book a room with 2 queen beds. I paid for a room with 2 queen beds. What I was told upon arrival was that they didn't have my room available and they only had a room with a king bed and pull out sofa bed. A pull out sofa bed is definitely not a comfortable bed. This sofa bed had holes in the mattress and just looked dirty. It was a thin mattress and was uncomfortable. When I book something, I expect it to be available. I understand that mistakes happen, but it is how you handle the mistake that matters. I was told I could pay more for an additional room or I could go elsewhere. Not okay. When I called expedia to see if they could help the agent on the phone said he thought a sofa bed was fine. Good for him! Not okay and further frustrating. I can say, I do not plan on using either the hotel or expedia again. No customer service. Instead, expedia told me I was being the problem. I asked for something, booked it, paid for it and didn't get it and I am the problem???? No thanks.
